Dyson Fan is just ok

It’s good at filtering air and providing a light breeze but only blows hot air when the room temperature is excessively warm. Worked downstairs but not strong enough for upstairs where heat rises and is unbearable.

Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air. Posted .Hi Jean, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're glad to hear that in your use, you found the TP01 Pure Cool Tower to be so easy to use, and quiet while in use as well. It's not abnormal to see a lot of dust accumulate at the shroud of the machine, or at the amplifier loop. Your machine will draw in air through the bottom portion, purify that, and expel that purified air into the room. We do recommend regular maintenance (cleaning) of the shroud and loop, to keep those areas dust free.
