The airflow is excellent and it will keep rooms cool. My bedroom is over 350 sq ft and it stays cool during the day and night. Great because I don’t need to turn on the AC to cool down just one room. Only downside is that the airflow blows in a straight outward direction rather than up and down. My bed is somewhat high so I barely feel the air blowing at night. Still, it’s a great alternative to AC or ceiling fan. Definitely would buy another one and recommend this product.

So I received this "purifier" at no cost in exchange for an honest review and I must admit, I got more than I was expecting. As is common with Dyson products, you expect top quality build, performance, design, and functionality. When I received it and started assembling it, it seemed to be just a very sleek looking blade-less purifier. Upon turning it on however, I realized that the features this purifier has takes your home into a new generation. Why? Well this purifier is not only blade-less, it is also smart, and can be used with an included remote, or your smartphone through the Dyson Link app. Besides providing HEPA and carbon filtration, this purifier actively monitors your air quality! On the unit itself, it has a line that tells you how good your quality is as it runs. The part I like most is actually the app. It is very intuitive and informative. With it you may control the purifier, set a schedule for it, and monitor the air quality of the room it's in. It also measures indoor temperature, humidity, and particulate matter of different micron sizes. It can detect nitrogen dioxide and other oxidizing gases that are typical in vehicle emissions, cooking, or just burning gas. Also harmful odors like in strong cleaning products, paints, etc. All these will determine your air quality. The nice thing is it will also give you the remaining filter life so you know when it's time to change it. It has 10 fan speeds, and when you get to 9-10 it's a bit on the loud side, but I could say that it's to be expected. To get a good wind flow I feel I had to put the speed to about 5 or 6, as anything less than that was just a slight breeze. The fan does oscillate, so it's nice because it will get the whole room and you can do different coverage angles from 45 degrees all the way to 350 degrees depending on how much you want it to oscillate. There is a night mode that will run quieter (speeds 1-4) for a period of time before shutting down, though if you have it on a schedule then it doesn't matter. Even knowing the quality Dyson produces, I am very impressed and happy with this product. I know these are "costlier" than other units but what you are getting is much more than a purifier all in one. Highly recommended!

Works well and is super quiet. The cooling is great. Wifi app on Android phone is also a great idea.
