A very expensive fan

I live in an older high rise condo where the a/c is only available in the summer months, so during warm spells in the other seasons, I was hoping for some relief but this isn't what I was hoping for. It's a very expensive fan that works well when you are directly in front of it, but it doesn't cool the room.

Air conditioning units and the Dyson purifier fan are two very different products that work in very different ways. An air conditioner refrigerates the air it supplies, allowing the air in the room to be made cooler than the ambient temperature outside. The Dyson purifier fan cools a person by moving air over and around them.
Not only does it provide cool air it also provides clean air as it is designed to capture 99.97% of allergens and pollutants.

Only when used as a heater will it change the air temperature.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t have enough experience with purifier itself yet although I can say I have a much cheaper machine with a better purification. However, I bought this overpriced machine since it comes with an app , so I can control it remotely and have more information about air quality and such. I wasted over 2 hints trying to connect it to the app but it turned out the app is a piece of garbage and it’s impossible to connect to. The machine is useless for me since most of the functions and programming can be done only on the app I am assuming. I will be retiring this overpriced piece of garbage to the store tomorrow.
