    I had a lot of trouble with this unit about Six months after I purchased it. Dyson was terrible with its customer service. They offered to replace the unit and they ended up giving me a much cheaper unit, that did not have all the capabilities of the one I had actually purchased. It doesn’t work as fast as I expected, and is not great with heavy odors.

    I had 2 options freeze or buy a $500 heater. It works but, isn’t much better than an ordinary space heater.

    This product was not at all what I expected. I read that it is heat and COOL and that it can be controlled by temperature. These were my big wants and why I thought it was worth spending the money. The temperature control feature only works with heat, not the “cool” function. Also, there is nothing about this that is cool. It’s is just a simple fan that spits out warm air. I needed something to help cool down a small nursery and thought the air purifier was a great bonus for baby. Now, I wasted my money and don’t have at all what was described.

      Hi there, this is David with Dyson. Thanks to the heater and purifier design of Dyson HP02, these models are great for use in both winter, as well as in summer. I can also confirm, unlike an AC unit that's designed to chill the air, the cool portion of our purifier line consists of blade-less fans. They are designed with a powerful airflow to provide you with a powerful steady stream of smooth air. As a result, the air temperature does not change. Instead, it's the air flow which is designed to cool you. The air provided is consistent and smooth, similar to a powerful breeze of air. This differs from bladed fans, which result in buffeting and provide choppy air. Each of the machines will also have the option of increasing the speed of the air expelled from the unit, which is adjusted via the remote control, or the Dyson Link app. Also, when used in conjunction with an air conditioner, Dyson HP02 may be used to circulate cold air further and faster.     Good Fan, Poor heater

    Quiet, moves air well. The heater portion goes into overdrive and quits heating and just blows air. One has to pull the plug to turn it off and reset it. It will heat if you switch it off and on several times, but eventually it goes into overdrive and just circulates the air.

Dyson purifiers, when purchased new and from an authorized retailer will include a free 2 year warranty. You may be interested to know our heat function has an internal thermostat, one the machine has reached the desired temperature it will go into a stalling mode to save energy, at this point little to now air would come out and the machine would stop oscillating. I'm happy to hear that you've found the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Air Purifier to be so easy to control with the remote control, or with the Dyson Link App. Dyson Hot + Cool does feature an adjustable temperature range and 10 fan speeds. It sounds rather unusual that you wouldn't be able to feel a reasonable amount of heat from your unit.

    So I got this for my daughter's room and honestly it didn't work that well and her room was really small. The fan sucked but the heater was great. It's just an okay product and the filters are stupid expensive!

Our air multiplier line, unlike an AC unit that is designed to chill the air, consists of blade-less fans. The air temperature does not change, it is the air flow which cools the user. Each of the machines have the option of increasing the speed of the air expelled from the machine, which is adjusted with the remote control. You can change the room temperature while in heat mode.

Unlike most purifiers, you can use the Dyson Link app on your Smartphone to see how well the machine is purifying the air. Not only will it purifier, it will also cool and heat a room as well. So it is great for year round use.

    This product came highly recommended by the staff as the top of the line. In the store the sales associate continued to highlight the heat feature, which is the best part. We were looking more for an air purifier and fan and those features are less than desirable. It seems to throw an error code often and the air from the fan can barely be felt. We have just not been happy with our purchase.

    I bought this to heat my gym 12x10’. I was assured it would easily heat a space of that size. What no one told me nor is it anywhere in the manual or on the box is that this unit automatically shuts off after 8 hours or so of use. Needless to say my water rower froze and cracked and is ruined. Cost me more a lot more than the heater....

    Device didn’t work! They are a pompous brand they make a terrible product for their switch on their hairdryer they know they do this and they do not adhere to the Americans with disabilities act
