    Great multi use air purifier

    Compact, sleek, and fairly quiet. Heater function works very well, and the “cool” fan does help. As an air purifier it does it’s job - I have no complaints - it lives up to the Dyson hype so far.

    Very disappointed in this product. Heat is limited to a very small, I mean very small radius! It’s quite shocking!

    Great fan but the app wouldn't connect. Spent an hour with the Dyson rep trying to get it working but nothing worked. I recommend buying the regular Dyson

    Quiet and warns the room nicely, I like that it is temperature controlled as opposed to some that just keep heating. Haven’t used to cooling fan yet, your price was the lowest too.

    I purchased this unit even though I currently own several Dyson fans/heaters but the fact that this unit has the addition of an air purifier changes the game. I suffer from bad allergies and have been looking for a separate air purifier but this unit gives me everything I need for summer, winter and most-of all, spring allergies! It was up and running in minutes and my first night with the unit had me breathing much better when I woke up...not as much coughing and congestion. The app gives me tons of info and I've been controlling the unit from work…pretty slick. The only drawback is that is does not work with Apple HomeKit. Hopefully, Dyson will fix that in a future update.

    If these were about $350, I'd buy 10 of them.... but since they're so expensive, I bought one of them. The product works great, the wi-fi feature is actually useful and the graphical information very helpful. Here's my wish for this item: I'd like to remove natural gas from my home as: it pollutes about half as much CO2 as coal; having a natural gas supply to my house increases my homeowners insurance $600/yr more than it would be without it, due to risk of fire/explosions; and having two circulation pumps plus a boiler plus pipes running all over the place already takes a decent amount of electricity as well as causes a lot of places where I could have potential water leaks in my radiator system that's nearly 100 years old. So, for my 3300sqft 6 bedroom home, I'm looking to go all-electric - even with my hot water heater now that electric heat pump water heaters cost 75% less to operate than a natural gas water heater. My only issue with this is that I'd like to be able to constantly monitor this, have it work with a home automation system, and have individual heating/cooling controls for each room, even if I'm half-way across the globe. So, if this could be a more automatic portal, I'd instantly get rid of my boiler, circ pumps, and radiators, and I'd have individual temperature control in each room, and I'd also have air purification in each room - it couldn't get any better than this. I don't need air conditioning, as I'm at over 7000 feet in elevation in the mountains of Arizona where the high rarely gets above 83 degrees, and that's just for a few weeks, and only during the peak of the day. So.... come on Dyson, you're so close to making this perfect, I think it would only take a little effort from your mobile application development team! Love it! Buy it! Wish I could buy a lot, lot more of these!!!

    My husband and I decided to purchase this since we have a newborn son that is 2 1/2 months old and we wanted to make sure that every last thing is in great, clean condition for him (including air which is so important). I love that there is a heat and cool option also since sometimes we don't want to heat/cool the whole house up and this will heat&cool a targeted spot. Being able to see the specs of our home in the app is so useful, and it makes me feel good knowing that the unit is actually doing something since we can see charts of the air specs. It also claims that those with asthma and other breathing conditions can also use this appliance.

    Worst Customer Support I've Ever Experienced

    Better hope you don't run into any problems because Dyson customer support is worse than useless. I'm an engineer with 18yrs in product design and development. I've designed consumer goods and crafted service and support information to assist customers. So I know what I'm talking about when I say this level of incompetence is unfathomable for a supposedly premium brand. I've gotten significantly better customer support for generic no-name brands whose "customer service" is a shady email address to a guy in his Chinese apartment than I've gotten from Dyson. Do better. After having my Dyson Pure Hot+Cool for a few months I got an error code on the display. I looked for the manual online to figure out what it was for but the manual listed for my model was the incorrect manual and didn't cover my issue. I tried through my "mydyson" account where my product was registered. Same problem. I emailed customer support. After a few day's wait they emailed back... again with the wrong manual. There had to have been a manual created for this product when it was produced, right? Does no one at Dyson know where to find it? I guess so. Finally they did at least tell me what the error code is for. Looks like I need to replace the filter. Easy enough. They offered to ship me one for free. That's nice. I gave them my address. They responded that nevermind they're out of filters, so I should buy my own. Fine. I buy my own filter off amazon and replace it but need to reset the reminder code to restore full functionality to the unit. I need to know how to reset that code because it's not obvious. From my own research online I know there is likely a combination of buttons on the remote that I need to press but nothing I try is working. I continue to engage in multiple emails with Dyson customer support (each one taking them 3-6 days to reply) with them repeatedly not helping or just not understanding my (very simple) question. I just want to reset the code. It shouldn't be hard. I finally get a european version of the correct manual which is helpful, but the reset instructions don't work. I continue multiple emails with Dyson customer support with them not understanding. They ask for my receipt even though I registered my unit with them when I bought it and it's linked to my account. I dig it up and send it to them as a pdf. They can't open the pdf (really?)... so I convert it to a jpg and resend it. FINALLY they decide I need to get a replacement (refurbished) unit. All because the error code can't be reset. Fine. Whatever. However they need me to ship my current unit back first. Then within 2 weeks of receiving my unit they'll ship a replacement. So with shipping there and back that means I'm without a heater for 3-4 weeks until their replacement comes. I'm currently using this as a heater every night for my baby's very drafty room. I can't go that long, especially heading into winter. It's getting cold at night. I prefer to keep my children from freezing. That's why I bought a ridiculously expensive heater from Dyson... to safely keep her room warm at night. I've now explained that I cannot send my current unit back until they ship me the replacement unit. Will this ever end?? I am beyond amazed at how incredibly incompetent Dyson customer support is. Their website looks fancy but was useless. Their personalized mydyson account looks fancy but was worse-than-useless with the wrong information. And their email customer support is slow, unhelpful, and useless. Now I'm hoping that leaving negative reviews will get their attention because obviously emailing customer support isn't. So here I am like an a-hole blasting my negative experience out for the world to see because Dyson couldn't handle it discreetly through their normal customer support process.

    Too expensive for a no-draw fan

    Very good quality as all Dyson's are. Some reviewers have stated there's no discernible difference in the fan speeds. I find there to be significant differences. Speed 10 is much faster than speed 3, for instance. The reason for my 3-star rating is really twofold: 1. Dyson's are very expensive. The quality is usually worth it, but in the case of a fan, it doesn't really do a $450 job. 2. This is probably the biggest issue. The fan does not "pull air" from behind it. It creates its own air. This is an issue if you intend to put it in front of a window to draw cooler night air into your bedroom, for example. It simply doesn't do that. Now if cool air is lingering in the area of the fan, it does move that air. But a standard fan will draw significantly more air and is significantly cheaper. Do I recommend the fan? Depends on the usage. At this point, I don't think it's worth the money.

      Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for sharing your review. We're glad to hear that you found the quality of your HP02 Hot + Cool Link to be as expected. The unit actually does draw in surrounding air through the base of the machine, where that air gets purified as it passes through the HEPA filter, and that cleaner air is passed through the amplifier loop on the fan.
