Worse product I ever used

Just less than 2 month of use and a clicking sound start to happen. I send it back to Dyson and the send me a refurbished damaged replacement. This is not worth the amount you pay for!

Good at first but poor reliability and bad service

Mine began right at about six months of moderate use. Dyson offers a repair service within two years, but also requires you to drive to one of their service centers to get it. In my case it's 45 minutes away. This is not the level of quality or service I would expect from an $800 air purifier.

Decided to turn the heat on. 10 mins later all sensors went bad. Tryed to re set multiple times. Gave it almost a day nothing changed. Returned and got dyson big+quiet which i love.

Your HP09 offers ten speeds of airflow, and the ability to adjust the temperature up to 99 degrees in heat mode. Backward airflow mode is ideal in cooler months, when you don't quite yet need the heat, but also don't wish to feel cooler air blowing on you. Temp turned up to 99, fan on 10 and in 8 hours it can’t get the temp over 63 degrees. Without a heater the room sits at 61 degrees. We have a 10 year old duraflame heater that is quieter and will heat the room so hot we have to turn it off. We wanted the purification added for wildfire season. We expected so much from the Dyson name. I don’t understand why so many people have rated this machine so highly. You have to hold your hands within a foot to feel the heat. Do yourself a favor and buy dedicated machines to heat and purify from another brand. Will be returning it.

Fire Hazard

Started to emit a smell like electric wires were burning and then made a very loud noise and turned itself off. This product could have started a fire. Will never use it again!!!

Unfortunately Dyson support is not sensitive to the fact that people are not willing to leave a 10-15khz whistle running in their home to call in during their business hours. I would caution anyone to avoid a company that has a PR team monitoring sales sites telling you to contact support. If you need a PR team to manage your image, your money might be better spent in a higher quality fan assembly.

Not worth the cost

Screeching noise is constant every time we turn it on. I bought it in December 2021 and started to have issues in a few weeks. Tried to resolve the issues with customer service. Nothing worked. They said they would replace it but it is out of stock. At this point I would very much like a refund since I can’t even use it.

2 units broke in under 6 months
