Best Dyson fan ever!

My bedroom sometimes doesn’t have the same temperature as the rest of the house, and this fan makes my nighttime so much better, keeping the temperature perfect, and the HEPA keeps my dust mite allergy at bay. Win win. The price is rough, but given its versatility and the high quality of the product, it’s worth it, especially if you have any respiratory issues.

I am hopeful that I will see the best reason I brought it come to my view. I have seasonal allergies ( use over the counter medication and prescription when needed) and thus far it is good but so expensive for the middle class who probably use it more .

I didn’t planed to buy items that particular visiting day, happened we where at the display items, went he asked, and said other customers were content with that particular product. It responds quickly to food being cooked in the kitchen from our master bedroom about 40 feet away. Assembly was very quick and easy. App works well. The bad: Only gave it 4 stars because of the minimal effectiveness of the cooling fan. I understand it is only designed to blow ambient air, but for the high price I feel I should be able to expect a cold fan attached to the heater and purifier. Otherwise great product if you can afford it.

The app is awesome to see right now what they air quality is in addition to a plotted chart showing the historical numbers. It’s expensive but if you are concerned about air quality in your home it’s worth getting this version that also monitors for formaldehyde.

Great purifier/ terrible fan

To be honest I don’t like fans because like anything else they collect dust. When I saw Dyson had these bladeless purifying hot & cool options I thought it was worth checking out. In Best Buy they had a few blowing which seemed to blow cool and I was immediately sold. I went as far as spending the almost $1000 for the formaldehyde eliminating one even. Well don’t take a two week vacation shortly after buying something at that price. If I could return it I would. This product is a very good purifier but a terrible fan option unless the room is already cold. It also per the U.S. safety standard UL 1278 disables the thermometer control on the app. To be honest I’m assuming that feature is specifically for heat since when I try to change it on the remote it shuts off cause I’m adjusting it in the heat setting and it does not exist for cool. Hopefully it’s a great heater in the winter, but I will not hold my breath.

One of our newest machines, the Hot + Cool Formaldehyde features four sensors to ensure you are experiencing precise air quality monitoring. The integrated sensor system, and solid-state formaldehyde sensor constantly analyze your air, ensuring your room air is the effectively purified and cleaned.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.
