It’s very annoying. It’s not the heater that shuts off. It’s the entire unit. So if you’re planning on using this as a heat source be prepared for it to turn itself off if it runs 7 hours. Other than that it’s a great unit.

Not much to add if you already have a Dyson purifier, but I'm hoping that this one doesn't end up suffering from a slight chirping sound when it runs after a few months

The heater works great for the winter but I was disappointed by the fan if you can even call it that. It's just a light breeze. Either way I would be more satisfied if it didn't have the hefty price attached to it.

We're glad to hear that you've appreciated the design of this unit, as well as all the technology we've packed into one of our latest purifiers. HP07 removes 99.95% of particles as small as 0.1 microns. With regard to cooling in the warmer months, our purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's really a nice heater/fan but the only downside is not being able to control the heat from your phone and the remote is IR which I feel at this price point should be Bluetooth so you don't have to point it and on tiny spot on the fan.

After getting this Dyson, the smell has been completely removed. It is definitely worth the cost!

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m only taking away a star because I think it’s silly that you cannot control the heat settings in the app. You can only control heat by the remote alone .. so if you lose the remote …you’re out of luck there. other that I love it. It does a wonderful job of filtering the nasty invisible stuff. Filter lasts about 10 months. Very pricey but, knock on wood, no problems and it runs nonstop.

Spendy but worth it!

It's very spendy but you can buy cheap off amazon and replace in 2 years. Dyson products are always built to last. My house was not built very good so heating and cooling rooms has always been an issue. This thing regulates my room temperature and does an amazing job at it.

Great purchase with no regrets if you can afford it a little bit on the pricey side. I would like to purchase another one for bedroom. Con : It took several weeks for the remote to sync with the device with programming certain angles for the flow of air other than that I am very satisfied.

It's an air purifier which has been helping so much with the recent bad air quality in NYC. Likr that dyson has remote capabilities so i can start it up way before i get home.
