Good purifier, not great

Developed a high pitch squeal which is annoying, but not terribly loud so ive been able to work around it. But for the price.....shouldnt happen. I guess i expected more from Dyson

The only thing I can't figure out is when I set it to heat at a certain temp, why does it not say on? I don't care about the purifier aspect.

Posted .Hello Tatinka, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you're not having a 5-star experience with the Dyson Purifier Hot + Cool HP07. Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.
