The cost being prohibitive to some I could see being a major turn off. Though if can shop and get a match with a local store they can be had for a great deal. One of the nice things is that it heats up quickly. It moves air well in either mode and can move a good amount of air. Since it also has an filter you can rest assured that it wont clog as soon as you take it out of the box.

Good heater, not great at cooling

We had no heat for a few days and it brought our whole downstairs to 70 degrees up from 62. The cooling fan part is no good to feel it you have to turn it up high and it’s really noisy. As far as the purification I couldn’t say I’ve used it but felt no better. I can still smell what I’ve cooked even after running it to clean up the air. I’d say buy it if you can get it a lot cheaper than what i paid

While the fan feature is not designed to change the temperature of the room, it is designed to cool a person by moving the air over and around them. The purification feature is also designed to clean the air as well as help eliminate odors. How quickly it eliminates an odor does depend on the size of the room.

When using it as a heater, it will automatically go into standby mode once the desired temperature has been reached and then turn back on when it falls below the desired heat setting.

I ended up buying a new space heater every two years because they never last. The other ones take forever to hear up. This heats up my bedroom in minutes! It’s incredible.
