It’s not possible to manually start deep clean

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Can’t manually trigger deep clean cycle When you do have the opportunity to run a deep clean cycle, you can just unplug it, and it’ll forget it asked you, leading to potential pump failure That would be covered under warranty I think, but duck that, I don’t expect any dyson products to have any warranty claims!! There’s a good Reddit thread out there You can try doing a factory reset But bottom line is If a deep clean is needed You shouldn’t be able to avoid that by doing a factory reset You need a warning that deep clean will be needed soon And then a full stop blockage

Defective Out of the Box

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excited to get this, but right out of the box, the humidifier was giving error messages (drip tray overflow). The fix was to do a "deep clean," but that should not be necessary brand new! Dyson Support told me they would exchange or I could bring it back to Best Buy. Easier to just get a refund. Do not get this unit, the reviews that say there are quality control issues are true!!!

Odd odor

It was not the filter, which was brand new and nothing wrong with it. After a week and a half it was apparent it was getting worse so I had to return.

Issue regarding the air purifier

It worked quite well for a year but after a while the filter doesn’t do its work properly. Also it’s difficult to find the replacements for the filter. I feel like it’s a wastage of money

Regret purchasing

The humidity levels in my room remain about the same even with the unit on

Excellent "3 in 1" Unit
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As a prior Dyson air purifier owner, I can attest to the build quality, health benefits and overall effectiveness of owning a Dyson Purifier/Humidify/Cool unit. The PH04 gives you all of the abilities of the past models with the added benefit of detecting and destroying formaldehyde on sight. In just a matter of mere minutes, you go from a box to operating your unit. The included setup guide clearly illustrates how to assemble your unit and configure it for use with the Dyson app. The Dyson app not only allows you to control your unit, like a second remote, but also displays informative data about the air quality in your area. For those with multiple units, you can add all of your units to the Dyson app and can switch between them to manage each machine individually. This allows you to have different settings for each unit depending on user preference. We decided to put this unit in our home office since we previously didn't have any kind of purification device in that area. After using it for a little over a week, my family is already starting to notice the difference. For the allergy sufferers in the family, this unit has provided some much needed relief. I feel like the amount of sneezing and coughing that I hear from that room has dramatically declined. The air just feels cleaner in that area now. For a while, my wife would bring her work laptop out to the living room to work because the Dyson out there stays on during the day and she could feel the difference in the air quality. The last few days, she has stayed in the office for most of the day and has been very pleased with the upgrade in air quality. Haven't had to clean this unit yet, but it comes with 3 packs of cleaner and the process is illustrated on the documentation. It's the same process I used when cleaning my PH01 so the consistency is very much appreciated. I feel like I can't say enough positive things about this unit. I would say that the only downside is the price tag. Dyson products usually do come with a premium but I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" and with the Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool Formaldehyde - PH04, you're getting the best!

Disapponting

Multifunctional life improver
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first Dyson product, I have been using it in my bedroom for several weeks now, and its been great. I already had an air purifier in my bedroom which I noticed had a positive impact on my sinuses and allergies. My only issue was the air was becoming very dry through-out the day, and of course as the seasons changed. The added ability to humidify is what attracted me to this product, and fortunately it didnt disappoint. Set-up and assembly was quick and straight forward, the unit itself comes completely assembled. All you are required to do is remove some tape from the side panels to allow them to completely snap into place, install the filters, and remove some tape from the humidifier water tank then fill it with water. The box showed up pretty beat up from UPS but the product itself wasn't damaged luckily so the packaging seemed to do its job. I would still recommend picking this up from the store if possible. Installing the Dyson app on my phone and pairing the purifier with the app was extremely easy. Once paired with the Dyson app you can control the settings of your purifier via the app in addition to the included remote control. Functionality wise it has been a strong performer for me, improving my sleep quality over the previous purifier thanks to the humidifier. I used to end up with sinus pain or a sore throat from the dry air I was breathing at night, this Dyson combo unit has greatly improved that. Offering high quality HEPA filtration, the humidifier, and it can act as a fan making this the ultimate bedroom upgrade. Both the fan and humidifier have 10 speed/intensity settings in addition to an Auto mode. Auto mode works great and you can keep track of the air quality both in your home and in your community through the Dyson app. While from the outside looking in to some this may just appear to be a high dollar house fan, but it does more than any fan to actually help improve the air quality in your room. It is one of the quieter purifiers I have ever had and definitely the most feature rich. No complaints, happy to have it camped out next to my bed.

WORST COMBINATION
