Please keep in mind that upon your first use, there is a 6-day calibration period, where your machine will be adjusting to your space, to provide the most accurate data in terms of air quality. Also, purification time can vary depending on how large the room is, how many windows and doors you have, as well as other environmental factors.

Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

Doesn't work like in the store

If you are looking for a portable air conditioner, that's exactly what you need an "air conditioner" This didn't perform like the one on display in the store. The display cool tower was putting out really cold air. Unfortunately, that's not what I got and I'm returning it tomorrow. After thought....Maybe the one on display seemed to be putting off really cold air, is because the store is air conditioned and it was pulling off of the cold store air conditioner. Very sophisticated - Thought I would bring it home and plug it in. Nope, I needed to set up a app on my devise and sync it with the tower. Not sure it that was completely necessary. I hope my review help you in making a decision

Dander bad also. Turn on auto mode and within 2 minutes it stops oscillating and fan speed down to 2.I'm sorry but in that time it could not have sucked more than a 5 square foot area of air from around the unit. We have kept it in manual mode speed 5. As of now I can't tell if it's doing anything or not. If that is the case I could have spent the money on a brand new pellet smoker and I guarantee I would have smelled the difference. So how do I tell if it's doing anything at all?

The Alexa functions are a little difficult to use and the remote is minimalist and a bit cryptic. The parts were easy to install out of the box and setting up the app was very easy. You just need to setup a free Dyson account. You simply have to install the filter and cover around the base and it's ready to use. The app allows you to remotely control the fan/filter or set a schedule for run/filter. The remote is easy to use but you have to read the book to see what everything does. On/Off, Auto, Speed, Oscillation, Fan direction and a few others. There is a small readout dial on the fan base that provides info (filter/air quality, fan speed, etc.) It's small and tough to read if you are not next to the device. The Alexa functions are convenient but very particular. You have to say it just right for it to work. 'Alexa, ask Dyson purifier to turn on; 'Alexa, ask Dyson purifier to set my speed to 7' just a couple examples. I haven't tried to modify these successfully to make them simpler. In all I like the fan/filter and all the options it provides, but it will take a while longer to figure out everything it does, and how to control it all.

I live in a busy intersection with tons of buses & Car traffic, So i get a lot of carbon / Brake dust build up in the air & on my furniture. We have the unit in our Living room / Kitchen. I dont know if its placebo effect or not But i do seem to notice a difference in air quality since i bought this. It just feels easier to breathe. I Do Vape indoors, which is partly why i bought this, When i take one draw the machine knows and turns on automatically & cleans it all up, its that sensitive. As a test, I made Bacon this morning (All windows closed). I was surprised by how bad my air quality got when I started cooking, which makes sense. Around 25 mins the Bacon smell was completely gone. Overall Summary Pro's: • Its a Smart home Air purifier with voice control & App software. • 100% Sealed Hepa Filter design I've seen so far. • Uses Carbon Filters. • Looks modern, Unique Design, Fits well with my place, Looks good as a appliance. • Build quality is good, does not feel like a cheap product. • Small foot print / Lightweight, This unit does not take up much room. • Filters everything I throw at it, Vape, 420 Smoke , Carbon emissions, Pollen, chemicals. • Compared to other Air purifiers, The replacement cost filter it not so costly ($70), compared to other brands that range over $100 in replacements & sometimes involving multiple filter replacements. • The updated screen display Is a must, Its pretty cool to actually see what the unit is filtering and the micron levels. • Less dusting on furniture Con's • So far I don't really have anything bad to say about this purifier. • Maybe entry Price? It certainly is not the cheapest air purifier out their. But for the engineering and design features, It didn't feel like i blew my money on something useless. • For someone that is looking to wash / reuse the filters this does not work.

Then worked fir week connected to internet now it won’t connect. It’s 45 days out and I went to Best Buy to try to take back. TOLD ME ONLY TAKE BACK AFTER 14 days. I have purchased 5 TV appliances etc. never complained or brought anything back. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY AT BEST BUY. EVEN THOUGH IT COMES WITH 2 year warranty from manufacture BEST BUY WILL NOT HELP ME

Not Worth the Minimalism

This is too weak to purify and air volume is low on the highest setting. It's also loud, easy to tip, and randomly hums.
