The Dyson TP04 features 350 degrees of oscillation help to project purified air around the whole room, and the intelligent reporting is designed to automatically sense, capture and project - then report back to your Dyson Link app. Dyson's Air Multiplier technology does deliver over 77 gallons per second of smooth, yet powerful airflow. Another enhancement is the backward airflow mode, which is great for use in winter. You also will have airflow speeds ranging from 1-10, to ensure you can adjust the strength of airflow to your liking. Airflow may be adjusted via the included remote control as well as remotely through the Dyson Link App. The 360° sealed HEPA and activated charcoal filters are designed to remove gases and capture 99.97% of microscopic allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including bacteria, mold, odors from cooking, scented candles and car exhausts.

    Very NOISY. I can NOT sleep with the purifier ON.

    Very disappointed with this purchase. This Dyson TPO4 Air Purifier is very NOISY, even in the lowest setting that it does NOT let me sleep, so I have to turn it OFF. I expected more from Dyson since it was NOT cheap at all. I tried to return the item to Best Buy, but they said NO. So I am stuck with a piece of Junk, a very expensive one.

Dyson purifiers are QuietMark accredited, so they were designed to be quieter than the conventional purifier while still being efficient. The noise shouldn't be disruptive, so this sounds peculiar.

    I purchased this one since the reviews where great. But honestly the smaller one is wayyy better.

Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.     I spent days trying to get the Dyson app to connect to the fan. After the first day, I contacted Dyson only to have no resolution. I returned it to the store (where they took it back and apologized). Dyson then contacted me days later saying it was on their part that is why it wouldn’t connect.

This issue has since been rectified. It's disappointing that this was not a seamless process for you. We believe the Dyson Link App will provide unique insights regarding the air quality in your living environment while allowing easy control of your Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link from anywhere.     Had to wait 10+ days for this to arrive and then one of the functions didn’t work, and kept saying that the brand new filters needed to be replaced.. had to take it back. Disappointed as I expected more from the dyson brand

We test our purifiers in a room of 291 square feet and take measurements to ensure the whole room has reached a clean level before our Auto mode stops the machine running.

    not reliable after warranty runs out

    It worked really well for 2 years then stopped working after the warranty ran out. Dyson says I have to buy a brand new one and will not support. For the cost very poor service.

    The Dyson TP04 Air Purifier is an impressive column, and yet blends in fairly well into its environment. It is approximately 41” high with a base of about 8” circumference. It comes almost completely assembled, except for the filters and covers. The design of these is clever in that the two sets are not only interchangeable, but can be installed either direction up - there is no way to mess it up. It does take a little bit to get the covers snapped on, but it was clear when they were properly inserted. The unit comes with a small remote that would be very easy to lose if Dyson hadn’t designed it to affix to the top of the unit via magnets. Once you connect it to your WiFi, and download the app, you will probably not be reaching for that remote too often. Especially if you also enable the Alexa skill to control your unit. I have place my unit in Automatic mode, allowing it to control the speed and duration of the device itself. There is a graph in the app that shows the environmental conditions for the past several hours, and a weekly roll up of the daily conditions. You can see how the unit came on when the air quality declined, and turned off when it improved. There is also a virtual remote in the app you can use. Now for the explanation of the strange title. When I first set the device up, I tried all the buttons on the remote. The one that makes the unit oscillate only made it go a short distance one direction, then pause and click, until an error on the display screen of the device showed an error. Nothing in the manual, so I called support. Although it took several minutes (10 maybe?), I finally got to talk with a wonderful lady who helped me. She ran through the list of troubleshooting steps, all which where obvious and had already been done (power off/on, check for obstruction or tape the needs to be removed), until she mention that a coworker had mentioned a possible fix. I was to run a length of dental floss around the gap between the base and the rotating top. As she put me on hold to get one of the devices to look at, I tried the floss trick, and after a couple of good back and forth, it would go part way, then stop. After doing this a couple of more times, it now goes back and for the flawlessly. This should be in the faq’s, as well as the manual.

    Anyone who allergies should have one of these in their home. It works. I have two children who suffer from allergies. After using this for a few weeks I have definitely noticed the difference. Nice, sleek and quiet. The overall look is very futuristic. It doesn’t take up much space. Quality product from dyson. I love that it tells you what it detects. It’s nice to know I have something that is cleaning the air in my home and improving the quality for my children. Less wake ups in the middle of night because of sneezing. Thanks dyson.

    Its not producing air flow as good as Dyson - AM07 Tower Fan older version. I expect this to be same or better than previous version. I must say that it is a bit disappointing.

    This Dyson Pure cool is a good fan. For the size it blows a good deal of air. To find something with more airflow it will be bigger, louder, and probably not have a filter. The fan is easy to assemble. Just snap in the charcoal and glass HEPA filters and you’re ready to go. The included remote affixes to the top of the fan loop by magnets in the devices. Overall, the fan is lightweight and easy to carry, just don’t move it by using the fan top as a handle. Operation is pretty simple, the remote handles all features. Oscillation settings are 45, 90, 180, and 350 degrees. A small LCD screen on the front of the unit lets you what setting you are making, and current air quality. There is a night mode which limits the output to keep the fan quiet and dims the LCD. So, you can sleep at night with no noise or bright lights. You can also make a delayed shutoff. The fan output direction can also be changed, the reversed direction was quieter to me. The auto mode lets the fan decide how much it should operate. The LCD screen will show you current operational status, air quality, filter status, temperature, Particle matter removed and the like. One of the best things I found is to use it with the Dyson App. It connects to your home Wi-Fi network and all of the functions, features, and information of the device are available. You can even set a schedule for on and off through out the week. When you use the app, it will automatically register the fan too. The unit worked fine and all functions and information came up with no problems on the fan and through the app. This unit does not have washable filters. When the glass and charcoal filters are done, you’ll have to buy new ones. The filters are not up on the Dyson site, and when I called about them, Dyson had no information on cost. I was told they expected the filters to last a long time under normal use, years. So, there is an ongoing cost to using the fan, but right now, that cost is unknown. Like most Dyson products, it costs more, but it’s worth it.

    Loved it but it broke in 2 months. Power burned out. Too expensive to go through this inconvenience. We are will reach out to the manufacturer for assistance.
