I wouldn't ordinarily expect much from a stick vacuum, but tried one at a relative's and was duly impressed. Its price point made me hesitate, but I sprung when it went on sale just prior to the holidays, By no means does it have a plug in's heft or handling feel - but it's not supposed to. It's an excellent, highly maneuverable unit for simple, fast cleanups - without taxing my back (which was the case with a handheld) Bit of a trick finding a suitable mounting spot, but that's not a Dyson issue - indeed the mount is pretty trick. Proof is in the collection vessel as this rascal takes up far more than the aforementioned handheld ever did. Is cleaning "fun"? I dare say so with the Dyson V6.

I love this vacuum. So easy to grab and go. Powerful little sucker. It does all kinds of floors. Pow!

This product is wonderfully designed, just like most Dyson products I've used. Finally I have one that can handle the hard-to-reach places without dealing with power cords. But this cannot quite replace a regular corded vacuum cleaner for whole-house cleaning. The battery life is simply not sufficient. But for small jobs, it's the best product in the market.

Best handheld cordless I've ever owned. One down side is battery life is short on high speed. Great for quick cleaning in kitchens and bathrooms

It does have a lot of auction power. It just takes time to recharge. If you're doing a lot of vacuuming, that could be an issue. Other than that, I've no complains about it.

We have several vacuums in our household including a robotic samsung vac. I always find myself reaching for the V6 because it is just easy to use. The suction is fantastic and it has really cut down the need for us to pull out our upright. My wife loves it and for her to get excited about a vacuum is a big deal! I would recommend this to anyone looking for something to clean up quick messes or a couple of rooms at a time.

I find the vacuum works very well, but the charge does not last long enough, I can not finish one (1) room on a charge.

Amazing strength and suction from something so small. all the needed hardware to mount and store is easy to use. Battery life isn't exactly stellar, but I don't have much to vacuum either.

My family uses it and has three dogs that shed all of the time. We use it daily without complication.

The New Dyson V6 nails it on every level. The DC35 I replaced it with was a 4 - 5-star product, but the new V6 is just fun! It sucks up everything it can, and then some. It's lighter, quieter, easier to operate, and the battery is now a built in Li-Po. Great product! Fun fact in the owners manual: Hoover stole Dyson's design after he patented and pitched the bagless design to them. He was awarded a judgement for patent-infringement!

I have always wanted a stain but finally sucked up the cost and took the plunge. I'm sorry that I let many failed vacuums come between me and the Dyson. It's worth it's weight in gold!

Marvelous suction but the carpet attachment is worthless. It does not pick up fur off a carpet. Great for dust bunnies and the leaves the dog brings in, but not very good with small sticks. Glad I bought it on sale!

Absolutely love my new Dyson. It was exactly what I was looking for. Recently built a new home and was looking for a vacuum I could use on our stairs and this one works like a charm. It has also proven very useful for cleaning my children's carseats. The only con I can think of would be the short battery life, but I was expecting that when I purchased the vacuum because it is listed right in the description, but I never had an issue where its run dead and I wasn't done. Would definitely recommend!

I’m pretty much in love with this vacuum. It’s very powerful. I don’t need anything bigger than this. I don’t need anything to run longer than the 20 min it lasts per charge. I just have a small bedroom and a car to clean once in a while. In the future, if I get a bigger home of my own, I’m happy to buy another Dyson vacuum that will last longer than 20 min. It’s worth the name.

I've always wanted to purchase a Dyson but never did due to cost. Then my Electrolux stick vacuum started slowly dying and I was in search of a replacement. I considered iRoomba but it was out of my price range. Then I saw the Dyson on sale at Best Buy plus I had a mover's coupon so the price wasn't too bad. I've used it now for a month and love it. Very convenient, powerful, loves that it hangs on the wall. The only thing is that if you use it for more than 2-3 minutes continuously, it gets very hot. It also starts to hurt my hand (the bulk weight is at the top of the vacuum). Overall though I'm very happy with the purchase.

Got this to vacuum our staircase. Vey handy and easy to use. Works well when cleaning the car as well.

Cordless is so much more convenient. It works on bare floors and carpets picks up more and is easier maintenance than my wired vac. Need a break after vacuuming for 20 minutes anyway!

Prior to making this purchase, we already owned the Dyson V6 HEPA. The suction was not as strong as a Shark that we had in our second home, but the convenience of being cordless was a crucial difference. This vacuum has suction that is as good if not better than the Shark - yet all the simplicity and comfort of a Dyson. Looks better too! Great buy considering it comes with several attachments that retail over $50 each.

There are not too many products like this on the market (battery powered and light weight vacuums). I can imagine the challenge is producing enough suction power from a battery. This is currently being used as a primary home vacuum (1500 square feet). The battery will not last cleaning the whole house. But it is great to tackle a few rooms a day. I will never go back to a corded vacuum after using this one.

I use it on my stairs and kitchen. I do wish the battery would stay working longer but it definitely makes cleaning easier. Side note I do own another Dyson for my carpet areas
