Super light and powerful, no cords, easy to empty, and takes up almost no space when you mount the charger on the wall. As far as the battery life is concerned, I've never had an issue where I had it die due to the lack of battery. I usually tidy up a room or area and vacuum before dumping the canister contents and putting it back up on the charger while I tackle another part of the house.

This is a great vacuum. Got it for a great deal. Great suction. Not a big house, so this works perfect. Larger homes, you may need the bigger/newer Dyson. For my house works great. Definitely recommend. Fun and easy to use. Didn't realize how dirty my house was that i have to dump it every time i use it. Easy to dump. Easy to charge (wall charger is great). Definitely worth it!

Our home in Houston flooded and we lost everything. We moved into a 3 story townhouse with our Dalmatians and bought the cordless Dyson to replace our upright. The cordless version cannot actually be cleaned. The battery life is less than stellar too. However it is easy to carry up and down 3 flights of stairs. I would not buy it again and we have owned several upright Dysons.

This replaced a standard canister Eureka Mighty Vac. It is easy, and convenient to use, especially for my son when he is helping with the weekend chores.

These Dyson products are worth their price tag. They are powerful, have lots of accessory options. There is nothing like having the right tools with commercial strength..

The V6 was pricy, but well worth the expense. I clean less now around my apartment because this vacuum does such a great job.

This is a great vacuum cleaner. It is cordless and comes with a lot of attachments. I liked the bare floor attachments since my house is 100% bare floor. It takes you 1 hour a 1,500 sq2 house with a full charge. A fixed station needed to keep it in charge other time. On nthe other hand, it is also possible to make it smaller size with the attachments and use it for car cleaning.

We have had other light vacuums but the battery was always running down. This one has never run out of power while using it. Picks up the small stuff. It has difficulty if debris is to large.

We recently switched from all carpet to all hardwood. This Dyson makes life so easy with hard surface floors! Grab and go - efficient and extremely easy to use.

I really like this vacuum... It is lightweight and easy to use. The one drawback is the 20 minute run time.

Love this Dyson. I do wish the battery life was a little better though. Other than that it is a great hand held vac.

It is very powerful, the only difference with this one and the more expensive is the moving head and some accessories. As with other Dyson, worth the cost.

Battery doesn't last long enough. Dust & hair good but other crumbs seen too large and head just pushes around

This is a Great Little Vacuum cleaner for small household jobs for a quick pick up. I like it and suggest to get one if you can afford it.

We usd this on the hardwood floors to quickly clean up after the kids. So handy and quick. Although it works on carpet probably not ideal.

Seriously though, this little vacuum, which can detach from the long section to become a little, powerful portable unit, is very vigorous. The battery life, especially in turbo mode, may not exceed 10 minutes, which is understandable. I still prefer this over old, large upright vacuum cleaners that are tied to an AC outlet, especially for cleaning up small messes.

The suction is a LOT less than we expected. It does a good job as long as the power head is used. We tried to suck up a spider and it wouldn't pick it up, as well as minor dirt. The power head sweeps up the dirt and there seems to be enough suction to move it on. Also, the charge only lasts for 20 minutes, so don't plan of extended use. It's too expensive for no more than it does.
