Posted .Thank you for your review on the V6. The V6 is a great cordless for in between cleanings, quick clean ups or small areas as it does feature 20 minutes of constant suction in standard mode and 6 minutes on MAX power for tougher jobs.

Thank you for your review. We’re thrilled to hear that you are enjoying the machine overall. Regarding the battery life, the V6 features a max run-time of 20 minutes on the standard power mode and 6 minutes on the much more powerful MAX mode.
In developing the V6, Dyson engineers researched how long people like to clean, and found that the vast majority of people clean for less than 25 minutes in one session. Many people, for example those living in apartments in metropolitan areas, find 26 minutes proves to be long enough. Although if you live in a much bigger home, we would recommend that the V6 be used for in-between cleans, rather than deep whole home cleans.

Not worth the money

I wanted another cordless which would last longer. Heard great things about Dyson, but not worth it. Takes close to 4 hours to charge, and works for 20 minutes. And it is hard to empty.

The battery doesnt last more than 10 mins. If you are expecting deep cleaning forget about it. This is meant for quick clean ups. A broom would give you similar results. Save your money.

This machine is designed to have a battery run time of 17-20 minutes on standard power, and 6-7 minutes on Max power. Should you find that you aren't getting this amount of run time, please let us know.
