This movie in the Blu-Ray format isn't as crisp in picture as I'd like it to be, however since it was filmed in the early '80s, it's about as good as it can get. However, the sound quality is excellent in the DTS sound. Plus, this John Williams score is arguable one of the best music soundtracks of our time!

Great classic movie. The 4k really looks good with this older movie. The clarity is shockingly good on a movie from the early 80s. Pick up this movie on 4k if you’re a fan of E.T. You won’t be disappointed.

I don't think I have to go into detail about the said movie, as we all know and love it... I here to talk about the extras..which are plentiful and a must watch and have for all collectors.. the effects on the the actual steelbook case are beautiful to look at and have as a collector..the free Reese's pieces were just the cherry on top :)

It was so fun to watch ET in blu-ray, but it was just as fun watching hours and hours of special features. There are outtakes of the original film, interviews with the cast, old and new, footage of the shooting of the film which was really neat to watch how many different ways they made E.T. 'alive, and my favorite was Henry Thomas's (Elliot) audition for the role.

A movie that should be seen by all. A mix of "Close Encounters" and "Stranger Things" but before "Stranger Things", of course. Plot: Good Action: Mild to moderate with intermittent comedy Appropriate for most viewing ages. Excellent over all movie but I would give 4.5 stars as it didn't change my life substantially.

This is a classic film I grew up watching and after seeing it in 4K it was like a brand new film, the detail of E.T. is amazing, you just want to stare at him. Great transfer! Also check out the newly released close encounters of a third kind 4K release. It completely envelopes you u will want to watch it again and again lol

Everyone has seen this movie so I won't go into details about the story. The 4k picture looked amazing. It looked like a film that was released yesterday, but was set in the 80's. The movie looked fantastic. DTS x was a nice bonus. There wasn't a tone of action, but it was a pleasant listening experience.

Anybody who remembers the 80s should remember E.T. to me it's one of my favorite movies that came out of that decade. Fast Foreword I have 2 kids of my own and now they love E.T. 2 it's entertainment the whole family can enjoy and let's face it that's few and far between these days. E.T. a staple movie for any home entertainment collection.

As a child of the 70's, this movie brings back a LOT of good memories. I love having it on Blu-Ray and digital and look forward to watching it again with my kids. I'm sure they will think it is tame by today's standards, but still, a great movie!

This was a fantastic film back in the day, and it looks the best it ever has now. Of course, I am not pleased about the edits that have been made to this film and would love to see a rendition in it's original theatrical state. However, this bluray/dvd/digital copy combo is an excellent addition to our home library at an extremely affordable price.

Some movies are simply timeless, and E.T. is a part of this group. I saw E.T. for the first time almost 30 years ago and I thought that it would be a great idea to buy the movie for my daughter. She ended up loving the movie and it felt like I was a child all over again. Excellent family movie and I would recommend this movie to anyone.

The cover for it is pretty cool and love book and music CD that came with it. Remember this movie from my childhood and glad they kept it original and not that special one they came out with before. Spielberg did a very good job telling a story and couldn't of picked better actors for this film.

If there's one movie you get on 4K with HDR, this is the one! The movie has always held a special place in my heart, and seeing it in 4K and HDR10 was like seeing it for the first time all over again. The soundtrack on CD is included and it is A1! I can only hope more 4K transfers are as great as this one is.

Since we've purchased our large screen TV, we've been getting Blue Ray videos of the classics...Haven't watched ET for many years, so we decided to purchase it on Blue Ray...It's been a real experience seeing these great movies on our new Smart TV and Blue Ray...You gotta see it again with this resolution, and on a large screen,..if you can..

There is no doubt that E.T, is the single best movie of the early 80s. I made a simple mistake though. I had this movie on Blu Ray and thought from a magazine featuring E.T. on it that there was a better copy. I bought it, and I now have two copies. It will make a great gift to a friend though.

The original bluray was a 4k remaster and now its finally available on uhd. Im very happy with the hdr on this disc because it doesnt over do it and alter the movie in an extreme way. Its just there when needed whereas other movies the hdr really changes the overall look whereas this one just enhances it

I watch the movie with my six-year-old granddaughter. She loved it immensely. I took my son when he was 3 years old to see it in New Orleans.My granddaughter cried like my son did .He is 41 years old now.It just brought a smile to my face.Best movie everrr.

ET was the first movie I ever got to see when I was a kid. I have very fond memories of my sisters taking me, and I wanted to share a similar experience with my kids. They have nothing to compare it to obviously but the 4k remastering and the addition HDR is a beautiful upgrade to an already great movie.

After a whole lot of years, this is still a good movie. A speilberg classic, this blur ray set includes the blu ray and dvd discs as well as a digital code for VUDU upload. No complaints, good value here.

This all time classic is a MUST. My children thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Parents please be beware, the acceptable language in the 80s while not excessive is a bit more loose than today’s acceptable language for children.
