Great price for a classic movie. Can’t beat the price for a digital copy.

ET, a great movie that holds up incredibly well. I am looking forward to sharing this with my kids in the next year or two. The 4K picture is nothing short of amazing. I grew up watching this on VHS so the DVD was a revelation, likewise, this is a big jump up in quality from the Blu-Ray release (which was also very good!) from a few years ago. No overly aggressive noise reduction or other "improvements," just a beautiful 4K re-master of the film. Audio-wise, ET was originally released with a basic stereo (2.0) soundtrack. This 4K release has that and also an option for a 7.1 DTX mix which adds better dimensionality and even some overhead effect if you are set-up for that. I am going to argue that if you have a decent sized TV and a good sound system then this will be a better looking and sounding way to watch the film that even the original theatrical release.
