These speakers look and sound great. They are the perfect size for adding quality sound to my bedroom head-board shelf where they are connected to an Internet-radio receiver. The only thing I wish they had added was a balance control. These speakers replaced smaller and less powerful (4 watts) Edifier speakers that I had for many years. This was an excellent upgrade that significantly improved my music-listening enjoyment

I used to have a set of Bose computer speakers and they were okay, but I was ready to move up the ladder on sound reproduction. I have a small room from which my computer sits and so I knew that I really didn't need to blow out the windows, but with the fine tuning these have, I would more than welcome the sound that they produced. Just the information sheets state, the bass and mid's are of the best quality for these nice looking speakers. I was very enthusiatic about the sound that would be coming into the room with my computer that was hand made by one of my nephews that used to work for Microsoft, so I knew he knew what he was doing when it came to towers. So, after rearranging my wiring, I got them hooked up and slid in a cd and off I went to the sounds of 3rd Force, (instrumental) music.. I started out at a 3 level, then slowly moved on up the scale until it was blasting out and my ears couldn't take it. I moved the bass and treble around and found a good curve to hold it to. There is not a lot of adjustment to make with the knobs, but I have a stereo equalizer with the system and can adjust them a little better. They sound great. I really don't like highs, so that didn't bother me, as much as it does with not being able to set the bass and mid's. They look good and sound better. I am happy I made this choice.

Sound good and are easy enough to set up for a turntable. Also doesn't look too bad, and the remote makes them convenient.

Nice sounding speaker for size. Decent bass and good treble. Smooth sound. They are quite good looking. Using them at my computer desk. My only real complaint is the rear power switch. Should at least be on the side with volume, etc.

I needed to upgrade my computer speakers. My budget was limited but after several weeks of research, I settled on these. I am delighted with them. They have a wide dynamic range, a nice mid-range, and the bass response is excellent. It far surpasses my previous set's subwoofer. Well worth the money!

Used these as a replacement to my old junk computer speakers. I didn't realize how awful my old audio was until I hooked these speakers up! There is plenty of volume, the highs are crisp, and the bass is great. I'm sure that a 2.1 system with a dedicated subwoofer might have more bass, but these speakers have plenty for my needs.

Replaced a 2 speaker sub combo with these. I needed more desk space and wanted a cleaner look without sacrificing sound quality or bass. The bass and sound quality is on par with my old 2.1 setup. I use these connected directly to my PC. Would work great for bookshelf speaker, or any setup for that matter.

For $100 bucks I don't think you can find much better than these. I tried the Bose Companion 2 Series III speakers and ended up returning them and buying these. Much better quality and sound and comes with a remote. http://digitalstereophony.blogspot.com/2016/12/bose-companion-2-iii-mackie-cr3-and.html

I bought these for my friends because they were just using their TV's built-in speakers and needed something better. They loved how much better the sound was, especially for their music for around the house, which is the main thing they use them for. Now, these don't have a dedicated subwoofer, so if you want that rumble, these are not the speakers you're looking for. Considering there's no subwoofer, they are on the more expensive side, but if you're looking for a set of speakers that let you hear every detail you want to, are a step above the rest aesthetically speaking, and don't want to disturb the downstairs neighbors with the bass, these are the ones for you.
