The movie is a great laugh for all ages. I got this as part of a Christmas present for my 13 year old Godson. It may seem a bit dark at first especially based on the cover, but its actually a movie filled with light and love. It has a Frankenstein element, but without the horror, you actually view the world from the "monsters" perspective and see what could happen when a world decides to accept and embrace tge "other" those that are strange/different from what we deem as '"mormal." Its a wonderful romantic, humorous, coming of age movie. Relevant in todays society.

I have loved this movie since first seeing it in a theater, and I have owned all its various video releases, beginning with VHS tape, laser disc, then DVD. I finally bought the blu ray release from Best Buy because of the terrific sale price and the steel book case. The video and audio fidelity of this blu ray transfer recapture the magic of that first viewing in a theater. The quality of the DVD release is nice, but this is better. And if you are still looking at this film via VHS, you will be amazed at what you are missing.

I've loved this movie since I saw it in the theater. Had a Vhs and dvd, I didn't know you could watch a disc to death. The first dvd didnt last for more than 3 years. Hopefully the Blu-ray lasts longer. A great fairytale about disabilities and how one has two work through the pitfalls of life with it.

I remember going to see this in theaters when it was first released. My entire family went together and as the end credits rolled, my cousin asked where he got the ice from...of all the things to wonder about in this bizarre little film! If you haven't seen Edward Scissorhands yet, now is the time. And if, like me, you saw it all those years ago then you will truly appreciate this bluray presentation. Get your copy and enjoy this Tim Burton classic today. It's never looked better and it's a must for any film library!

This Tim Burton movie is an endearing and unique love story with an incredible array of characters. The perfect family movie. This story is funny, sad, dark and engaging in a unique way that captures the angst of adolescent life and a desire to be accepted and belong.

We all feel like the outsider at times, even when a person is great at being the center of attention, we all still just are a part of the crowd. Edward is like one of those people that grew up in a household where his parents never helped with homework, rarely just talked to him about his life, nor really cared about their own lives either. You feel for him and we can all relate in some way, which is clearly what draws a person into this story.
