Paid More for Widescreen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a gift for my wife, a big fan of the movie. However, I couldn't find the widescreen version of the movie in any brick and mortar stores, including Best Buy. Best Buy.com was the most reputable store that had the version I was looking for, for the best price. However, I was surprised that it took 8 or so days for it to be shipped from NJ to IN. All of that said, I'm still glad that I bought the version I did so I could avoid those weird camera movements used in Pan & Scan fullscreen versions.

Good, but Unnecessary If You Already Have on Dvd
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This Blue Ray version of 'Edward Scissorhands' does present a very nice visual display, one that is noticeably better than the standard-def dvd releases of the film. However, certain bonus features that were evident on previous dvd releases of the film are evidently missing. Therefore, whether or not to buy this item is up in the air.
