The sound never gets too loud as they probably wanted to make sure it doesn't cause damage to our kids ears. Inexpensive enough for not feeling angry that my kid lost or broke it.

One pair is (within a month) having difficulty in the witing (no returns allowed) and the bow came undone on the second pair (disappointed daughter - no returns allowed). I do not expect these to last long. Used infrequently or never leaving the house might increase longevity.
