There is a 3 stage switch which limits the volume level. The sound quality is average.. don’t expect much. The headphone is also adjustable, so will be suitable for different kids, but parents can’t wear this :).

Going on almost 2 months no complaints from either of them. Took them camping, on a plane, in the car. Works great to let them listen to their cartoons and I don't have to!!!!

The first one last about 6 months of hard labor with my youngster taking them on every car ride. So, when she managed to finally bend the connector to the point of no return, we bought another one.

He loves Star Wars so he was excited to get them. He says the sound is good and loud enough. Uses them mainly with his iPad but will try them with the portable DVD player and the new switch he will get for his birthday.
