Worst install experience

The techs crushed my dryer hose and I had to replace it. They also destroyed the tray around my washer and dryer to prevent water leaks. It took 5 attempts to get installed, twice they showed up without some of the parts. I will never use Best Buy installation services again.

Dryer installation

The dryer was not properly prepped for side exhaust and they couldn't install the stack unit. We did the installation ourselves. Fortunately installing the side exhaust was fairly easy. Don't know why it wasn't done prior to deliverly.

Installers

The appliances were not installed the first time and I had to wait another week for another installers to tell me the first installers were lazy because no issue was found with the valves.

Terrible install of dryer vent

Also, the elbow provided with the vent kit was not used and the connection to dryer was crimped. The technician said he didn't have time to complete the work correctly.

Incomplete Install

They said they weren't electricians. They even installed the wrong cord wrong and left off the clamp that keeps the wires from pulling away from the dryer. They also left trash behind.

Unnecessary Required Parts

It’s almost $100 of unnecessary parts NOT required at all for installation. The installation guys were polite. Best Buy as a company needs to do better. Now what am I supposed to do with these parts some brand new?

The worst dryer installation I have seen.

The pipe was too long and crushed. The dryer was unable to dry our clothes because of this. The connection to the dryer and the house was loose. Dust & lint are everywhere. Only half of the connection was taped.

Never reached out to make it right...roughly $2000.00 in damages...unacceptable

Do not do get this installation service

They plugged it in and damaged my home. After an electrical contractor fixed everything I filed the bill with Geek Squad's insurance and they paid me for the damages. Keep an eye on the installers if you have no other choice. See image of what they call an "installation"

Disappointed

They came and said it couldn’t be installed. That they couldn’t do it. So my guy called his friend over and they installed both washer and dryer. We waited 30 days for them to come and tell us they were not going to do it. If I could leave no stars I would.

I noticed my clothes were not drying fast enough and it was leaking water underneath. So I decided to look at my new Vent to make sure it was connected the right Nope! Very poor Geek Squad product instalation

Still have some minor crews missing and they left without balancing the dryer. They even never tried stopping the noise of the unbalanced dryer, instead just left. The product installation teams are very rude and they don't follow a proper product installation from the manual. Most likely not properly trained to do the job correctly.

Samsung Dryer Delivery

The only issue I had with the delivery was that they put 2 big dents in the dryer when they unloaded it out of the truck. I was promised that Best Buy would contact me to arrange a return or a discount. This never happened.

The installer didn’t understand what I was saying. There was a communication barrier. The end result was what he thought I wanted which is on the side of the dryer.

Brutal, horrible

Other than playing Plinko with the dryer on the way to the laundry room, the dryer exhaust tube was not attached to the exhaust pipe. My review on the washer installation is even better... and yes, this was not done by contractors. Geek Squad.

Nice product bar error code - useless installers

Best Buys insistence on employing useless third party contractors has yet to remedy the vent overheat warning

Buy in store dryer installation
