When the dryer was delivered the installer lost a screw to the cord connection. He tried to install it with only 2 screws. Sparks came out of the dryer. The installer told me to call Best Buy and lie that it worked and then just quit. I refused to do that. I called. Best Buy and they came and picked up the first dryer and brought a new one and it was installed by a new crew.

The installer was on time and followed health protocols. He had all the tools necessary for a successful install. I used my old pedestals and that was no problem for him.

The installation person was friendly and courteous, however, he forgot to remove the dryer vent cover so our dryer wasn’t working properly for 3 weeks and no one could determine why. Was an easy fix in the end but should have been discovered during installation.

Installation is free, but you have to buy a kit...so it’s not really free, unless you needed the kit anyways. Luckily for me...I did. They showed up, delivered and installed the appliance with no issues...

Tech did leave scuff marks on my walls in brand new house, which was a little frustrating. Install was No charge though, since I purchased the installation equipment with the dryer. The other issue was the vent hose was not attached properly by the technician, so it was hanging off the wall side, allowing heat and debris into the laundry room until we realized what the issue was after a couple loads. Had to pull the dryer back out and fix it all back up.

I had best buy do the install on the new dryer which the mounted to my existing base from the previous dryer with the same make. They did a good job.

Delivery team was very courteous and professional. Unfortunately my dryer vent is an in the wall unit so the vent hose would not work. Once I purchased an adaptor I was able to complete the install myself.
