Checked the dryer vent hose (which was brand new at install) and realized it had been damaged and bent in several places, affecting airflow apparently during the install. Cut the vent hose down to a better length, reinstalled, and now getting much better airflow out of it. Already left a review for the washer install, in which the hot and cold water lines were incorrectly installed which led to damaged clothing before we found that. Terrible experience overall!

He left a kink in the piing that will clog with lint in the future. A future problem. WE like the Samsung dryer, especially the way it shuts down "early" when the clothes are dry.
