the 2nd one i've gotten the first one quit charging after so many day. the hand held vac is worthless, the nozzle is short .

It fails after two months of use. It doesn't keep the batteries charged for more than one minute after two months of use.

This vacuum cleaner was a Mother's Day gift to myself. I read all the reviews, and reviews of almost all the other offerings. I am very disappointed in this item. I charged it for 28 hours before I used it, then used it to vacuum dusty stairs (nothing heavy). The charge lasted apprx. 8 minutes. The dust cup is very small and it picked up dust, but not much else. I will be returning it...no 30 minute run time.

This vacuum cleaner doesn’t have enough power for a carpet. It’s easy to use and very handy but that’s it.

i got this for my new place. The battery doesn't last that long.

It's lightweight and portable but the suction power and battery life is very poor.

The old Ergorapido (something like the EL1014A) had a much better design. First, it came with a *stand*. This new one stands up by itself (the old one didn't). You'd think standing by itself is a benefit, and it is, but the stand was much more stable and, more importantly, served as a permanent connection to the power. So to charge it, you could just slip it into the stand. Now, you have to bend down to the floor to pick up the cord and put it in the bottom part of the vacuum. While this isn't a big deal, I use it much less often because of that small friction. The idea is for this to be quick and easy and that's a major detriment. The stand served one other important purpose. It stored the attachment pieces. The attachments weren't that necessary with the old vacuum because the snout of the hand held portion protruded in the right way so it fit into crevices better (seams of chairs, corners of stairs). The new design of the hand-held-- a big step back-- removes the protrusion and reorients the snout so that it is too snub to fit anywhere. It now must be used with the attachment. However, the attachment can't be stored in the stand, because there isn't one, so they now have a little hook on the vacuum itself. But it's not that secure and so it's often falling off. We lost it within the first week or so and now we basically can't use it as a hand held. So without being useful as a hand held and with having to bend down to unplug it and plug it back in all the time, it's inconvenient enough that it just sits in the corner glowing every so often. Big disappointment. The old vacuum was great in every way except over time the NiMH rechargeable batteries died. The new lithium ion batteries seemed like a great upgrade-- providing more power, lasting longer, and having a longer overall life. (The constant trickle charging didn't do the NiMH batteries any favors.) So perhaps the lithium ion batteries are a great new feature, but we use the vacuum so infrequently now that it doesn't really matter. One final annoyance is that they plastered sales stickers all over it lauding its features. They aren't the high quality stickers which come right off. Nope, they disintegrated as I removed them, so now there's a bunch of white sticker backing all over the thing. I am so upset with this purchase I would gladly return this vacuum for half of the original price. They ruined a great product.
