The detachable hand unit is a bit clumsy, with the inlet invisible unless you attach the small wand furnished with the unit. Cleaning the unit can be a dusty affair as the filter assembly is over-complicated and has to be handled carefully. You can't just open a chute and dump the contents. However, this is an indication that the machine is picking up more and smaller particles as it works, so it's a trade-off. Unlike my previous mini-vac, this one does not spook my cats.

It can vacuum both linoleum and carpet if you want to be lazy and just do the bare minimum. Down falls are you have to empty it a lot! The replacement parts seem hard to get. I lost the screw to hold it together and couldn't find any where to buy a new one. They don't even say a size of the screw to jimmy rig it. Other than that I think it is a decent buy.

However, only comes with one accessory item. Doesn't have enough power, in my opinion. But the brushroll cleaner option on this was definitely a nice touch. I am opting to purchase a Dyson (the price tag is really hard to justify) because it would make it easier to clean wall to ceiling corners of the house, light fixtures, fans, etc.

It does good for small light items but tends to not pick anything not dust like just shoots them out of the side does well with dog hair etc. I do like that it is very light and not cumbersome. The battery life is not long though.

Good for easy cleanup

But if you want some easy to access power for small cleanups this is your item. I use it to clean up after my messy parrots and do more than broom clean the kitchen. It works fine for that. Not really good on carpet.
