Bought for my son so he could buy madden but was informed after purchase for pc only!

This was a gift for my son and they require you to sign up for too many accounts to redeem this $10 that we just gave up. The idea is good but their system is terrible.

Do not buy this. Just use a credit card. If your gift card balance isnt over the cost of the game you cannot split pay. Support will not help you either

The code was easy to add and use on Origin. Had no issues.

It is a $20 game card to spend on origin or EA games.

OK, for all of you old geezers like me, you have to find out which type of card your kids or grandkids need for the games they want to play. Origin is for EA computer games. There are other game cards such as for Steam, so you need to get some info from the parents or off hand from the intended recipient. This is a good way to gift the grandkids if they are computer gamers.

Looks like all the horror stories of pre-ordering games and using the EA Wallet are true. I was assured by an EA Advisor that the EA Wallet would be used before any credit card would be charged. There is an FAQ that says exactly what the Advisor said, so I felt okay about making this purchase. Well the games has been released and my credit card was charged the full amount. Since these Cards only come in a $60 and $20 flavor it appears as if you can never have a zero balance because if the purchase is over you Wallet amount it will ask for a credit card. I contacted support again and they basically told me to go take a hike.

The card itself is nothing special but it was easy to apply in EA/Origin. Will buy Madden 19 with this

I had no problems, origin helps you if needed, and so does best buy!

Buyer beware. I purchased this $60 Cash Card to pre-order Star Wars Battlefront Digital Deluxe version which retails on Origin for $69.99. I was unable to use the card to make the purchase. EA says they do not allow split transactions on pre-orders. You can split payment on every other game. Why not? It's my money? Nothing in their terms of service state this, I read them completely.

I love being able to use my best buy rewards points to purchase these cards.

I bought a $20 card, but wasted my money because your balance apparently has to exceed what you're buying. This means you'll always have money in your EA account, which is anti-consumer. I want to buy something for $29.99 but it keeps throwing errors. Don't buy these, they don't work like Steam/XBL/PSN/Battle.net cards.

I got this EA cash card for Christmas, when I went to enter the code on the back of the card into my EA wallet it said the card was no longer active. This was a gift from a family member who purchased this cash card from Bestbuy.com. I went to EA customer service and they advised the card wasn't properly activated so bestbuy took the money, sent us a non-activated card and is now refusing to fix the issue or issue a refund. Either there is something wrong with the EA card itself or BestBuy stole her money. Merry Christmas to us right?!?! Do not purchase this card you will literally be throwing your money away.

I am not a fan of EA currency. I bought to purchase mass effect DLC. and it was a pain in the butt as some games are still using bioware points. Nothing ever goes on sale for DLC with older and some new EA games. It's fine that its available. I'd rather just buy the game straight out than purchasing any EA cards to use on Origin. They do too many changes.

Used these to buy some FIFA points, and I can say with conviction that it was the worst $20 I have ever spent. Nothing wrong with Best Buy because the card worked fine, but opening those packs gave me absolutely nothing. I highly recommend that anyone who wants to open packs decides against it.
