Good monitor, the color feels nice and has that paper white color look to it, they're great for video and text viewing. Though I don't recommend buying this. I purchased two of these monitors and one had faint white lines going through half of it and another had white bubbles around the edges. The black on these monitors is not good, neither is the viewing angle. I could not return these as I do no have transportation to a near BestBuy. Perhaps these were damaged in shipping. Poor quality, I see why these were on sale when I purchased them. Very dissatisfied in the end.

It is a good monitor. Would recommend getting one that has more hertz then this one has i just bought a 240 hertz monitor and can definitely see the difference between the two.

very please with the picture clarity. Recently purchased an Acer and thought it would blow this element away. Needless to say, I am returning the Acer. Price point for this 27 inch was amazing as a deal of the day.

This monitor works great for me. The frameless feature is very nice, it is a different touch. There was no CD included in the box containing install drivers or related software. Element Electronics webpage is very vague to download the drivers as well. With all said and done, it is a nice monitor. I am pleased with it.

Glare show up when I connect to MacBook, it’s a big screen for the an affordable price I guess it’s better for windows computers

The Element 27 inch monitor is a good basic, large screen monitor. It has both HDMI and VGA connections. It does not have speakers. The audio icon in the system tray showed HDMI Digital Audio with a sliding scale to adjust the volume and the User Manual implied that it had speakers. One of the answered questions on the Best Buy website also said it had speakers. After troubleshooting the "speakers" for 2 days, I checked the Best Buy specifications (which I should’ve done first) and found that it does not have speakers. The screen is a full 23 ¾ inches wide. Very little space is wasted by the frame. It has a very quick response time and refresh rate. The screen can be mounted on a wall. When mounted on a stand it can be tilted - slightly. The User Manual says it should be strapped down when mounted on the stand so that it doesn’t tip over, but it seems stable as is. There is no height adjustment. The monitor has a toggle button on the back to access the On Screen Display to change settings. The way it worked was not intuitive for me. A left toggle opens the menu and then the button is toggled left again to move right. The up and down toggles that were supposed to increase and decrease the speaker volume, actually adjust the brightness and the horizontal settings. Pressing the button turns the monitor off. The OSD isn’t something I’ll have to access often, but now while I’m trying to get all the adjustments made, I find myself turning the monitor off when what I wanted to do was move to a different option. My biggest complaint with the monitor has to do with the initial set up. A small screwdriver is needed to assemble the stand. Connecting the stand to the monitor requires 4 small screws. I could get 3 of the screws lined up and tight, but not the 4th one. It took about 20 minutes of loosening and moving screws to finally get them snug. In the end I felt like they were starting to strip out. The HDMI and power connections are in the bottom (not the back) of the monitor. I would recommend attaching those cords to the monitor while it is still laying flat during the stand attachment. It’s much easier to do it then and not so easy when the monitor is sitting up on the stand with little clearance underneath. I had a problem plugging in the power cord. The prongs on the power cord had the wrong orientation to plug comfortably into the surge protector. It plugs in length wise and covers up 3 slots. I tried it on the end, but the weight of the unsupported plug caused a loose connection. If the prongs were rotated 90 degrees, it would’ve been fine. I had to rearrange some things so I could plug it directly into a wall socket. I’ve made a few adjustments but the screen is still too bright for my liking and everything is slightly fuzzier than on my 4K monitor - which is to be expected. But overall I would say the technical quality is almost as good as my other monitor that cost 3 times as much. The stand quality and the way it attaches to the monitor are iffy. I feel like I wouldn’t be able to disassemble and reassemble it many times before the screws would strip out.

This monitor exceeded my expectations. The monitor has very modern sleek design. I really like the ultra slim look. The quality of the display is really crisp and the colors are vibrant. The resolution is great
