I picked this up as a secondary gaming monitor and am glad I did. While Element is not a premium brand, I've been very pleased with this particular monitor. The IPS panel has a rich color palette that makes games pop. The refresh rate (165hz) seems honest, and I haven't encountered any dead pixels or flickers. it's rated a 1ms response time, and I have not experienced any sense of lag, blur, or ghosting. I like the resolution; it can handle pretty much all the mainstream titles. I appreciate that it has multiple input ports and methods. I don't need more than the 2 HDMR and 1 DP port, but it does also include a 3.5mm audio input. The stand fit easily and seems sturdy. I swapped it out and mounted it to my VESA mount, and I'm glad it has that capability. The speakers are functional but nothing to write home about. Of course, you don't buy a monitor for the speakers unless you spend a lot of money on it. Even then, there are always better options. I hooked this up to my ROG rig and had it for awhile. It took everything I threw at it. The design is a little pedestrian, but I don't have any issues with that. The color ring on the back is kinda fun, I guess. The buttons are placed pretty far back under the lower lip, and the on-screen bezels were a mild disappointment. But those are really my only complaints, and none of that really matters when I'm immersed. So this is a winner at this price point. Good job, Element!

My son and I have been using this monitor for the last week and are very pleased. I can't give specific tech specs to say why the monitor is so great but I can share some off the reasons why we really like it: 1. It has great quality graphics. The screen is clear, bright, keeps up with all the graphic intensive driving games, and is non reflective. 2. It is adjustable so you can tilt it to meet your eye level. 3. The changing LED colors on the back of the monitor combined with the LED lights from the gaming desktop are awesome! 4. The display port cable included with the monitor is nice and allows me to use the FreeSync technology, even with an Nvidia graphics card. Overall, the monitor is all I had hoped for. Perhaps I would have gone with a slightly larger screen but that has nothing to do with the quality of this monitor. I would recommend it to any entry to mid level gamer!

Excellent Monitor for entering the 2k resolution video game space. Right of the box this monitor is ready to handle up to 165 fps which is excellent for every fast paced shooter game in the market. Along with FreeSync, you are going to have a buttery smooth experience, even at lower FPS settings. There is absolutely no stuttering or visual delays and the colors are rich, deep and beautiful to look at. The built in speaker is a waste and sounds horrible for gaming but its nice to have for watching occasional videos or listening to music casually. This monitor does have a VESA mount, which is a premium as well. This is a nice monitor for those looking to get into 2K gaming.

The monitor comes well packaged in the box. The stand is not hard to attach, however it does require nine screws to attach. This seems unusual since most monitors include stands that attach without tools. A HDMI cable is included, along with DVI to take advantage of the 165hz refresh rate. The menu and navigation buttons are on the bottom of the monitor and can be confusing to navigate but allow adjustment of a basic selection of mode selections, such as gaming, cinema, etc. The monitor supports HDR, but the colors seem to be rather dark. This will be work fine if you prefer to avoid eye strain, but gaming resolutions will not be very vivid. Overall, this monitor is good to use as an everyday general task monitor that is occasionally used for gaming. I would recommend gaming monitors from one of the big computer companies if you are a serious gamer.

Excellent monitor. Easy connection and great picture.

The monitor is the perfect size to fit the number of pixels without screen tearing. Resolution looks smooth for PC games, on the higher end of refresh rates in gaming monitors. It comes with both HDMI and [a shorter] DP cords, has potential for vertical orientation, and is mountable. There is a built-in speaker which doesn't sound good at all, and the LED light in the back serves no purpose. Those features could have been left out. Easy assembly.

Bought this monitor recently. Was expecting 165hz, but I went into my NVIDIA Control Panel and was messing around with the settings. I found that with my monitor, I was able to display 360hz on this monitor. So instead of getting 1440p at 165hz, I was getting 1440p at 360hz. Amazing.

Very good monitor with sharp clean picture. Monitor is vesa compatible and has speakers. I got it for my son so he does not have to play games on little laptop screen and he’s very happy with it. I highly recommend this monitor Pros: Good picture quality High resolution Speaker Cons: None

Easy to setup and use. Display drivers automatically installed and made fine tuning easy to do straight from the computer. default image a little washed, but with a few minor adjustments in settings, cleared up! Highly recommend this monitor with this high refresh rate and 1440p

Got this on sale for sub $200, for that price this monitor is a steal. No dead pixels, decent picture quality, minimal back light bled. All around a decent monitor if you can get it on sale.

Everything is all good but two dead pixels right off the bat and the stand was cracked when I opened the box. Nice quality monitor for the price.

Has worked well so far, very good image for the price

I got this monitor as a Christmas gift for my Xbox Series X. So far, I have been getting 2k (1440P) at 120 FPS with 1ms delay. The monitor also has a bunch of features that I don't really even envision using (ie built-in speakers, low blue-light display). I don't know about the technical parameters that other gamers require, but I personally am more than happy with 2k/120Hz/1ms compared to a $600 monitor offering similar. GG's and good gamming!
