Love the movie and the new transfer to 4K excellent

Elf is a delight throughout, and this 4K release offers the best presentation of the film, bringing all those wonderful little design details to new life.

Great movie. Good 4K transfer. Basic HDR10 and DTS audio. Standard edition came with a nice slipcover.

I heard reviews of this being a great transfer so i was eager to pick it up but i had to return 4 different copies because of damaged slipcover, i understand not everyone cares about them but when paying full price for a new release i expect a certain quality. Cardboard mailers need to be switched back to bubble mailers, they offer no protection and damage slipcovers when packaging multiple movies.

Looks good on 4K. I always enjoy this film around the holidays

I don't know if this is always the case but the movie for the Black Friday deal doesn't come with a Blu-Ray Disc and Digital Copy as advertised in the picture and product information.

This is the worst 4K disc ever! Why would a 2022 Blu-ray release start the same way as my 2009 Blu-ray release of the Hangover with the primative graphics spinning disc icon? On the disc menu they just reuse the same audio track as the main menu of the original DVD release. The picture quality of the actual movie is often blurry and sound quality is terrible. Sometimes when I try to play it , it will just go to a blank black screen. Other Times when I try to play it, My blu-ray player gives me an error message “ unable to play disc.” Older Movies and Really old movies should never be given a 4K release.

My least favorite Will Ferrell flick. Transfer is ok not great

5/5 stars! The movie elf is what I believe to be the best Christmas movie out there. It is pg and great to watch with your family. This hilarious movie really puts you into the holiday spirit. I really don’t understand how people dislike this movie, I have probably seen this movie 2000 times. One thing I love about this movie is the comedy. The movie keeps you smiling through it. With Will Ferrell starring as a buddy, the main character there is no way that you don’t chuckle or let out a quick breath of air out of your nose at least once. You can’t really get bored during this movie. The action and the comedy mixed together make it perfect. Will did a great job portraying a clueless, child-like, elf, who finds out he’s human. Another thing I loved about this movie was the ending. Buddy’s biological father was mean throughout the whole movie, until the end. Everyone sang and brought their Christmas spirit together to save Christmas. Buddy’s dad realizes that buddy means so much to him and that he needs to be there. This was truly a great ending and was very sweet. I really don’t have any negatives about this movie there is some adult humor but it's really no big deal. I highly recommend you snuggle up with your family and watch this lovely film together on Christmas eve.
