The reason I purchased was for the digital copy that was supposed to come with it. The digital copy download code was expired a year ago. Then when I went to the store to return it, I had to be hassled because they don't let you return opened movies. Eventually the manager stepped in and issued a refund.

The disk does not work,has an error, but the worst was talking to the store manager at Kings Plaza, was unpleasant to deal with him, I am not going to buy again or recommend this site with that kind of employees.

My item was sealed but when opened it was scratched already and the holder for the disk was destroyed. Kind of ridiculous since I picked it up in store and it wasn't shipped.

showed up dented and completely trashed. lucky the disc wasn't broken. don't mail steelbooks in flimsy envelops

How great is this movie? My daughter just turned 5, and she's still almost exclusively into cartoons. She sat through this whole movie, and asked for it again several times, and keeps bringing up scenes from the movie. Buddy the Elf has become a huge favorite in our house.

Fun, silly Christmas movie. Good to watch with a group of people and a candy table.

Elf is the perfect movie for the holidays. It touches on believing in Santa, and all the important things about the Christmas holiday. The laughs are done really well in this movie, and it will definitely have you laughing all the way through. However this movie also holds it's own with the classics of Christmas movies, as one that is here to stay. The story is filled with Christmas spirit, and was written by the same person who was the main character in A Christmas Story. If you like holiday movies, you will love this movie, and likely end up watching it a few times around the holidays every year. But it's a great movie during the year, just because Will Ferrell is so hilarious.

Will Ferrell is irresistible. He knows exactly how to please his target audience, and in this case, it's a family film. He plays an elf Buddy, who was left in the North Pole and raised by elves only to discover and give in to his being 'different' and ravages off into the human world to find his real father. Explaining the story itself may not be appealing, because the plot itself is a bit sappy. But the things that happen along the way and all the laughs brought on and smiles provoked is what makes this film so enjoyable. Two thumbs up, five star buy.

If there is one phrase from this movie, it would have to be the funny threat "Call me Elf ONE more time!" Whenever I say it, my sister by replying "He's an angry Elf" because she likes this movie along with "How The Grinch Stole Christmas."

Elf and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation are go to every Christmas. Nice Blu-ray to have on hand so we don’t have to channel surf all December for our favorite Christmas shows.

This is my favorite Christmas movie ever, and I love how it’s become a family tradition to watch it every Christmas Eve! So many hilarious scenes and quotable lines, it’s a classic!

Most of the Christmas Movies that I watch every Christmas are movies that I liked to watch when I was a kid, when Christmas was more exciting. I wish this movie had came out when I was a kid. This is probably the only Christmas film that I watch every Christmas that has come out within the last fifteen years. Great movie for the whole family, a must buy.

The first time that I watched this years ago, I didn't care for it. But now that my wife and I have children, we decided to check it out again and love it. I particularly enjoy the old-style animation sections; Bob Newhart's guest star, and also the duo between Ferrell and Zoey D. (can't spell her last name!)

This is one of the best newer christmas movies ever! Everyone can enjoy Will dressed up as an elf trying to find his real father in NY city. Not only is it clean cut fun, but it also make you feel like you want to join him running around in New York City!!! It has become a tradition to watch Elf along with the other Christmas classics! ENJOY!

This is a wonderful Holiday movie that the whole family can watch together. It is well written with many wonderfully memorable lines. Will Ferrell and Jon Favreau are great together. They created a comedic masterpeice with Elf. This movie is worth owning and watching each holiday season with your family. I love it and My kids love it too!
