My children had never seen Elf so this year we decided to watch it. Three teens and myself watched this show. We all agreed that it lived up to the test of time and it's a classic comedy. Elf is about a young baby that is dropped off on a doorstep and ends up in Santa's workshop living as a very tall elf. After some time it is agreed he will go out in the world and meet his real dad and real mother. So off he goes to New York City. There his childlike innocence is delightful and it gets him into trouble in variety of ways. Over time he learns and even finds someone to love and he teaches others the joys of Christmas. Will Ferrell did a great job and I can't imagine anyone more perfect for the part. This is a funny, cute, charming little show. It is going to be one we watch again and again in years to come.

Very cool looking Steelbook design and a hilarious film!

I had to buy another copy of Elf since one of my adult kids made off with the last copy this past Christmas. Will Ferrell is a complete bundle of idiotic silliness. You can't help but laugh out loud at some of his antics. At Christmas time we sit around and watch every holiday type dvd we own. This is always a hit with our family.

Great movie for the holidays or just looking for a laugh.

I really enjoyed this movie and the blue ray version was only 5.99 and I get to keep it and play it year after year. I have streaming services but they wanted to charge to watch it. I prefer to have my own disk and watch it year after year without having to pay for it every time I want to watch it. This was a good buy.

This is one of my must see Christmas movies each year. I am not a fan of Will Farrell movies but I must admit he did an excellent job as elf. The supporting cast was very good and the story was a lot of fun, Even with this being a comedy there were some fine relational moments as well. A must see for the whole family.

I love the movie elf, it’s one of my favorites. What I didn’t like was the packing at Best Buy. It made it hard to tell if it had the watch movies anywhere on there. It doesn’t have it so beware. The price was nice and used a reward card.

I don't know what I was expecting when I went to go watch Elf in theaters, but when the movie was over. I felt happy. Elf is a feel good movie. I was concerned that Will Ferrell's over acting was going to ruin the movie but he didn't. It's a Christmas classic you can watch with your whole family.

Elf is one of those movies that you watch and fills you with the warm cozy Christmas feel you expect during the holidays. In a world that streams more, people like me actually enjoy having a disc blu ray that i can look at as well. Its part the experience of movies.

This movie is one of my all time favorite Holiday movies, Definitely elevates my Christmas Cheer! How can you go wrong... A human haphazard elf who only wants to bring Holiday Cheer? Silly and somewhat innocent... Nothing can top a Christmas story, My best guess is that Will would agree!

What else is there to say. One of the best Christmas movies ever made. Will Ferrell at his best and a great movie for the whole family. If you haven't seen this, where have you been?! We start watching ELF months before Christmas and probably watch it 5-10 times a year. So many quotable 1-liners make this movie enjoyable every time we watch! Thanks Mr. Narwhal!

Come on it's ELF!! Who doesn't love this movie!! If you collect steel case DVDs this is for you. Nice to know this movie is carefully protected the rest of the year in its stylish steel case for when you want to pull it out and enjoy some Christmas hijinks with Will Farrell!!

How could I not give my favorite Christmas movie 5 stars?! Easily the greatest Christmas movie of all time, tell me I’m wrong. In 20 years, this will remain one of the funniest and most endearing Christmas films of all time!

The DVD we purchased was new in a sealed case and the price was unbelievably low! It's my wife's favorite Christmas movie so it was a no-brainer to purchase it as cheaply as we could rent it. Now she can view it whenever she wants to. Highly recommended!

We like Christmas and the movies that are available during this festive time of the year, saw ELF while on Holiday the wife Loved it . So this makes all the difference in the world Happy Wife Happy Life I did like some of it the story line, it was left up to the imagination. This hade pretty good video along with Dolby TruHD 5.1, there are a lot of stars in this movie. This was a feature on Blu Ray W/ special scenes at the end. Saw it Christmas 2019 bought it this Christmas 2020.

If you're reading a review about this movie because you haven't seen the movie yet, I don't want to know you. This is a fantastic Christmas movie and I highly recommend it to all. Even if you hate Will Farrell, it's tough to root against him in this one.

Every year, hollywood throws bunches of new holiday movies at the public, hoping some will earn a spot in future movie marathons. Elf is one of the FEW that succeeds. A delightful flick for the young at heart.

Will Ferrell is great as the oversized elf. When he travels to the big city to find his dad, the real fun begins. Buddy is really out of his element but creates a beautiful department store Christmas display. After a series of mishaps, Buddy finds romance, helps save Christmas and has a new family.

If you have no Christmas spirit before watching this movie I feel sorry for you. If you have no Christmas spirit after watching this movie I really don't feel sorry for you as you are probably a miserable person anyways. Fun movie. Funny gags.

I wanted to get ahold of some physical copies of movies that I regularly watch on tv because we recently got rid of cable. This was one of the ones I bought and I am glad to own it now. It is so much nicer to watch without commercials.
