I really dig this capture card! I had to disable HDCP to get the screen to work on my end, not sure what cause that issue but it was resolved. I've been streaming and have received compliments of the quality. I used to use a cheap Amazon capture card, and after 30 minutes of play people would comment that my stream was frozen or choppy; which I could also tell by my preview screen on OBS. Not anymore, I've streamed for up to 4 hour sessions about 3 times a week and have not noticed any issues!

Perfect for PS5/Xbox or Nintendo, this console works great and also provides a fast response speed, making it easy to record and edit. The quality looks great and very fluid, very small, and can be placed anywhere

I bought this capture device to replace an old one, which was a great decision. The device comes with HDMI 8 K and USB-C 3.2 cables. You can use the Elgato software to configure the device's behavior based on the current configuration (monitor and source device). It was easy to connect everything. It works perfectly with OBS Studio and macOS.

The Elgato 4K X is an outstanding capture card for my Xbox Series X, delivering smooth 4K144 capture, HDR10 (on Windows), and ultra-low latency passthrough. Setup was simple with USB-C, and gameplay felt seamless while recording. A bit premium in price, but its performance and future-proof features make it one of the best options for serious content creation.

A fantastic, easy-to-use capture card. Works great with its own software, and OBS alike. I use it for work whether streaming or recording footage for game reviews, and it puts out beautiful video and audio.

I've streamed on many platforms, using the some of the oldest and jank video recording equipment ever. The performance jump from the Elgato hd60 x is unreal. Being able to stream 144 fps at 2k resolution makes for an incredible experience for viewers. THE FOOTAGE IS SO SMOOTH!

Captures exactly as it says. No dropped frames. It can capture and pass through up to 4K at 120fps. All in all, it's an excellent product and high quality. It's worth it's price and it works on low end devices too.

I love my Capture card. It’s super easy to use, and I capture all of my gameplay from my PlayStation to stream, and record when I want too. If you want to get into streaming, or recording gameplay for editing. Highly recommend

Excellent capture card that captures up to 4k120 fps but you’ll need to make sure you’re connecting the Elgato to a usb 3.2 gen 2 port that can handle superspeed(as) 10gps transfer to be able to take full advantage of the capture card. Definitive 5 stars from me

If I could make this a 4.5 I would just because of one minor issue. The device doesn't support ultrawide resolutions at this point, and it will distort the video capture on those 21x9 and larger displays. But on a 4K60 monitor, its done a fantastic job at what it is supposed to do. I am capturing on a Mac Mini from a gaming PC and it works great. That said, sometimes I have to change the Input EDID Mode back and forth to Merged for the video to pass through, but that could just be my setup. In the end, I'm getting great quality video capture out of this and cannot complain. All of my elgato stuff has been rock solid for years and this appears to be on the same track.
