I already use the Cam Link 4K for sports streaming, and it's a great way for me to plug in a camcorder as a video output.

Need for streaking with my Sony a6400 on Twitch, works great!

Plug and play has never been so true. Device comes with an additional usb extender to properly plug into any USB port. I personally use for streaming live on twitch. Also recommended for budget, high quality streams.

Plugged into a 2020 MacBook pro and using a Panasonic GX85 for direct recording/streaming. It's very simple and does exactly what it's supposed to do. They're in high demand due to lockdown, I bought the day it was back in stock and it was already sold out before the day was over.

It's cheaper than the other options out there but still slightly more than I expected. I spent hours and hours looking for what this does and it was right in front of my nose just down the street. If you are using OBS, expect an audio and video syncing up issue. Luckily, I found a YouTube tutorial to fix it. Would buy again if I end up adding a third camera to my live-streamed podcast.

This little device is a real gem. It has made using my Nikon camera as a webcam a simple process of plugging in and turning on. I never could get Nikon's webcam software to work, and this solution also frees up a needed HDMI port on my computer's video interface.

Works great to handle my digital camcorder as a second camera for my twitch streaming set up - Harbinger50 - for my workout angle. Plug and play. Just make sure to plug it directly into an on-board/motherboard connection. Tried through a hub and it would freeze up. Since switching to the direct usb3 port... no problems

Was able to work with Canon Rebel T6i and ZOOM was able to detect the camera. The item does seem to heat up real fast.

Such a simple way to connect your DSLR to your computer. I am currently using this device hookup as a webcam and a streaming hook up and I have enjoyed it immensely. I think it’s so simple to connect your device to and the included software (which you need to download from the site but free) really helps!

While you are looking all grainy and terrible, my image on zoom is silky smooth and pro. People be like, "Who is that man on zoom? And also, why do I look like my 2004 myspace profile pictures while he's over here looking like a million bucks!?" And how do I respond? "Thanks elgato."

To improve my live streaming events. I needed a solution that would allow me to add multiple cameras to my live stream. I have several cameras with mine HDMI out that I could connect to a monitor, but had no way to connect them to my PC. Cam Link 4K makes this possible. It was simple to setup and use. I like this product

If your using OBS make sure you connected it to you usb port on your computer and have a video feed going to it before starting your computer and OBS, then you should have no problem with it connecting. USB 3.O or higher is recommended. Highly recommend OSB 25 or higher if you want to record and be able to pause while recording.

This was just what I was looking for! I was converting my camera into a webcam, and this the part that I needed! Be sure that you have an HDMI to Micro HDMI, though, as it is not provided.
