    The biggest selling feature of this model over any of the other Elgato devices is the lack of a need for drivers. I plugged this in to my computer and as long as it has a video source it shows up in whatever piece of software I am using. I primarily use this for Teams and Zoom. I didn’t even install their software as it is not necessary.

    I use a Sony A7S for my webcam and cam link works perfect. Although, the camera froze after minutes until I found that switching the camera mode fixed this.

    Elgato always comes in and saves the day in a pinch. Needed a quick and easy way to encoder video for an event and this was the perfect solution. Wish it had USB-C as an option but there’s always an adapter handy.
