I got this instead of buying another camera to use for online classes. Only, I wished that there was a mini hdmi cable for my camera included instead of an ubs extension cord. Also concerned that this could burn out my camera's sensor... but only time will tell.

We have a few of these babies in our broadcast booth at church and they work great!! We are able to capture different cameras in order to switch angles during our service. A cheap way to avoid buying a switcher that allows several inputs.

Works as expected. I wanted to use this to connect the HDMI output on my Atem mini pro into my computer so I could avoid having to purchase a camera monitor. This allowed me to view the Atem interface and operate it's functions all on my laptop.

Works exactly as described. I am using a nice DSLR with this and it works great. It does get really warm which worries me about leaving it plugged in all the time? But it’s great. Time will tell if the heat is an issue.

Has a lot of easy and not so easy to fix issues. After some YouTube videos teaching me how to fix it, it works well .

Bought this item to use with my Sony a7ii camera and i couldnt ask for anything better! The only thing i dont love about it is the size of the usb. Since it uses up some extra space on the back of my computer it uses up yhe space for 2 items

I have three of these for live streaming in a recording studio. Super solid, never unstable or quirky. They just do the job and work all the time. I bought cheaper ones on Amazon that work but not as stable as these.

After two other similar devices proved unusable, the Elgato Cam Link 4K was plugged in between a Sony A6000 and a Mac laptop. Without downloading any software, multiple resets, or wasting hours of emails and phone calls with "tech support," IT WORKED!

Works perfectly with our Cannon Vixia video camera to use as a web cam for streaming. We get a great video quality. No programming or downloads needed, just plugged it in & it worked great.

Love it, I walked in the store and had no clue if there was a solution to my need. I described to an associate what i was needing and he walked over and pointed out just what i would need. Hooked it up and BAM it worked.

Works as advertised. Gets hot so you know it’s working. We use it to connect a camcorder to our PC for streaming. Works great; Camera connects with mini HDMI to HDMI cable and PC connects with HDMI. OBS Studios immediately recognized it as a source.

I have tried a few other ones out on amazon but they never come close to what egato has to offer. Very easy to use and simple.

Plug and play. I’m using it with my Canon T7i and GoPro Hero 4 Black. Only took a minute to change the gopro settings and even less for the Canon. The Camlink was detected immediately and shows up in all of my applications. Image quality is great.

Great device. Now I can use my Sony camera as a webcam. This is my second one. I learned the hard way that if you have this plugged in when not using it, it will still heat up as if it were on and fry itself. Don't do that.

Works perfectly, turns a camera into a webcam in a plug and play way. Just make sure you check if your camera uses HDMI, mini HDMI or micro HDMI.

Great product, was able to get it at discount price. Easy set up, almost as simple as plug in and play. Just can't go wrong with an Elgato product.

This Video Capture Card works as a champ, We produced a lot of virtual event during the past months and this is a great option too connect our cinema cameras directly to our computer to be able to stream high quality video.

Love this cam link. Works great! Worth of the money. We were looking for this kind for long. Perfectly connecting the camera to PC.

I highly recommend the Cam Link by Elgato. I am am using the device for streaming and video recording. The device and its software are both very easy to use and also very user friendly. I have tried the cheap ones that are on Amazon and returned those the same day.. I would spend the extra money and get this one without a doubt.
