I use it to stream using Streamlabs OBS and it does recognizes my Sony alpha iii as a device, no need of using a third party software. Highly recommended!!!

I had to download the 4K utility, but other than that they require no drivers or setting up and as I said they just work.

Just note that you will need a USB 3.0 port to get 4k resolution. This was sold out everywhere due to big demand from those working from home during the lockdown.

Wish that Elgato had a USB-C version so I didn’t need to adapt it to use it on my MacBook Pro. But it works the same regardless.
