Has really good picture quality, especially when you turn off the automatic settings.

The Elgato Facecam was a great camera at first. It was easy to setup. The built in flash memory is a nice feature. The other feature that I liked was that the USB cable was not built into the camera, but the included cable is extremely short. Also, the Facecam does not like USB Hubs or Extensions, as this is stated in the specification for this unit. Unfortunately, the USB Cable went bad within the first week of using it. Due to this, at this price point, I can not recommend this product.

Perfect if you’re getting into live streaming or if you want a nicer camera for work

I picked up this webcam to replace using my Sony ZV-1 and my GoPro Hero 6 Black. Both of which I was using as a webcam for Zoom meetings and some light OBS recordings for school. Don't fall into the review hype with this webcam. I don't see it being much better than a Logi 930. As others have said, the image is over exposed but thats not where the problem is. In tools like OBS you can control exposure and this webcam even has its own controlling software that stores the values you configure. The image quality on this is not as great as the hype. Compared to my ZV-1, this shouldn't even be attached to the same computer. Thats not a fair comparison however, the ZV-1 is nearly $700 and this is $200. Add the cost of a CamLink and you are roughly $100 more than the FaceCam. My Hero 6 Black using CamLink as a webcam also provides a similar image. Arguably a better value as you can get a Hero 7,8 or 9 and use it as a webcam natively for around the $250 - 300 mark and still have other usability out of the GoPro. So if you are looking specifically for a good webcam, this is a good product at the $200 price point but I wouldn't and will not use this camera for anything on my Youtube / Twitch Channel or any video setting where I want good quality. I assume most of the people interested in this camera are coming from a Logi 1080p cam and if you are expecting a major upgrade in optical resolution, save a little more and go with a better camera like a hero 7,8 or 9. The benefit of this webcam is that you don't have to use CamLink and it integrates with the computer as any other webcam would. That is a plus and a big reason for my personal purchase. Simplification also has some value and that is specific to the person. Great cam for streaming or zoom. Very clear and bright. Use it almost daily and no issues. People compliment the quality of the video.

Pretty good. The software allow for fine tuning of the image. Have it mounted on Elgato’s mount. Bought both items together which gave me a discount.

Just make sure your USB hubs are working for 3.0 or else it might not work properly.

After everything this is the beat camera easy for customerization and on the fly adjustments.

You still need proper lighting for any webcam to look good - this won't fix poor lighting. Properly lit, however, it's a stunner.

Great product and picture is super clear. The setting are awesome and you are able to adjust the picture any way you want.
