And of course that was over 2 months ago so can’t return it thanks to the Worst Buy return policy which wants to extort customers for a worthless annual subscription for the opportunity to have a longer return period instead of selling high quality products backed by world class customer service. In fairness, I have not gotten to use the device with a PC and the ratings are based on my intended use experience, not my disdain for Worst Buy, the company driving us all to Amazon.

It doesn’t match the images shown in other reviews, even after adjusting the settings. The camera also struggles to connect consistently with OBS and Camera Hub. On top of that, it has a hard time producing a bright, clear image—even with good lighting in the room. Now I have to throw this camera away to spend $500+ for one that will work and that I can detect light

It constantly does not want to start. Quality is shaky and I have to continually restart my PC to get the camera to be detected.

Posted .Hello Isidro, please contact our support at help.elgato.com. Some systems do not intitialise USB-Ports correctly after a state of sleep/hybernate - a shut down with fast boot enabled also does not power off devices, it just sends them to a state of energy saving. A reboot shortly unpowers all devices. It can help to disable the fastboot option or to turn off the USB-Power when the system is shutdown.

I ended up returning this device as the quality of the image was weak in comparison to other devices. The 1080p limitations made me regret the device almost immediately as you could clearly see quality was not great. It was easy to setup with my Elgato Teleprompter however I ended up buying a better camera.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a content creator, mainly in aviation based educational content, and this was supposed to be the camera that pointed at my controls on my simulator while teaching during stream and making videos, I go to use it one day within two weeks of buying it, and the image is super dark and green when I say super dark, you could barely make out that the camera was even on no matter what I did in the settings
