I owned the original Elgato Game Capture HD and it was great. It did record in 60fps, but only at 720p. This records at 1080p60, and it looks fantastic. I know there are newer versions of this model, but if you can find this for about $100, I highly recommend it.

This capture device works very well, but it would be helpful if the chat link cord was included.

I don't stream a whole lot but wanted to have the option available to stream Wii U and Switch gameplay. This thing works perfectly. Truly plug and play. Only required very minor set up but works perfectly everytime. Can work to capture anything with an HDMI cord.

Works perfectly and as advertised. Very easy to use. Install the program, plug it into the console, TV, and computer and start playing. You don't even need a super computer to use it. It works great on my i5 integrated graphics Surface 4. No hiccups or choppy video.

It's easy to set up and the image quality is great. You can literally play off of the preview screen on your computer. This is perfect for making videos or live streaming. Just what is needed to record and post gaming action which is what I use it for primarily. Easy to use.

This is by far the best external game capture device I have had. I use it to capture my Xbox One and I also use it to stream my gaming. Not one bad thing I can say about it. The software works pretty good but I use XSplit with it and it seems to work better with XSplit.

Great quality and is compatible with Mac OS. That's pretty much the reason why I bought it.

I've always wanted to record videos on my Xbox with something more advanced than the stuff given on the console. I was blown away when I first started recording videos and trimming them down. The device captures fmgreat gameplay and is very easy to use!

It took us a while to figure it out but now that we know......! My son has a ball with it.

Love recording my gameplay with this. 1080p is nice.

I like the video quality, but it's not compatible with PS3 which i still like to use on occasion.
