,l I bought this game capture for my son he likes it but he really wanted the game capture Pro which wasn't in stock at Best Buy so we got this one is pretty working out pretty much but he really wants the Pro-Am I wish I would have waited because it would have been all that he wanted but he has to deal with what we thought so

The unit works well as advertised. Admittedly, this is our second unit in a year. The first one just died. Longevity is the issue.

besides the fact that i needed an hdmi2 cord which costed an additional $50, it's good.

When I first started posting my YouTube videos I was using the game DVR off my Xbox...that was ok but when I purchased the Elgato capture card everything changed. My videos are top notch now and the quality in them is amazing. Great buy!!

As a full time online game streamer this device give you excellent quality when do so. it will either connect you directly to your Youtube or Twitch account without the hassel of a stream key. You get excellent graphic and it run well with obs as well.

I cant say I really know how it should work. It is my first buy for a product like this, but it functions well, no issues yet.

This el gato version makes things so much simpler and it will deliver what you need when streaming online either live or post recording your games. This is one of a kind and it is up there as one of the best items for recording games and audio for uploads.

This Elgato is very good to do what you need it to. However, I wanted the freedom of using older consoles as well which oddly, the older version does but not this one. Regardless, this Elgato works perfectly as it should and is why I gave it 5*.

Great product! But there was NO setup instructions

I got this El Gato for Streaming on YouTube and Twitch. Hardware works great however the software is not great. It has some bugs they need to work out such as the mouse disappearing. I would suggest using other streaming software with the El Gato such xSplit. Overall, it is great for recording and easy to set up.

the product works fine but some videos have some lag. But the experience saving and sharing with other gamers is the best one

I want to start by saying I've been using this capture card a lot and it works great most of the time... it is definitely a great product, it is the software that gives me more issues. There are a few times, here and there, when the audio doesn't work on startup and I have to unplug and reopen the software to get the audio to work. I also want to warn Mac users, like me, that the HD Game Capture software that comes with the elgato is far behind the windows version. You won't have nearly as many features as the windows version - examples include no green screen removal for streaming as well as no way to connect twitch overlays the way OBS does with subscribers and donations. Also if you want to record chat audio with your friends look into the elgato chat link cable when you buy this, I wish someone explained that to me when I bought it. All in all, if you're tech savvy enough to want to record your gaming, you're probably savvy enough to figure out the work arounds to get this thing working at max capability.

Was a great gift for my grandson and I would recommend it for any video gamer.

Awesome piece of equipment if your trying to capture gameplay from your consoles

In my opinion the system should come with everythig it need to funcion. We had to buy additional pieces to make it work.
