Great hardware, horrible software. Needs better instructions and hopefully you have adobe premiere, because you're about to buy it. You can see some of my videos on youtube to see the quality https://www.youtube.com/user/TREENAHiSM/ I ended up buying new headsets, went from turtle beach x12 to AstroA40 Purchased adobe premiere because the editing software is only cutting scenes Ended up buying another software just to record PC gameplay... Commentary has no game audio, unless you use optical input and mixer for your headphones (which make that Astros perfect)

My son loves this gaming item. Every weekend his friend and his self are trying to put everything on you tube. I think it is nice.

I bought an Elgato and after about 10-15 minutes I was able to stream on Twitch or YouTube. Very simple and does a great job.

Setup is easy. Playback resolution is nice. Box is lightweight and small. Slick looking, does what you need it to do and affordable.

ElGato gaming capture was purchased for our grandson whom loves to create on YouTube - excellent addition towards his video creations.

Great for recording on 1080, I have a Xbox One X, recording or streaming will still work on 4K resolution

My younger son is a huge gamer and loves the XBox One. He also enjoys watching other people game on YouTube. He learns a lot about games online and wanted to do the same. This Elgato device may be costly, but it's super easy to use and set-up. Be sure you have a high-end computer to download the video to--lots of RAM and a quality processor. We have made several videos and then put them on his YouTube account. It's very easy to do and gives him a purpose for gaming, which is something I like.

Does what you expect, records gameplay. It was a little difficult setting up for PS4 because of the PS4 and not the elgato.

For windows this is an awesome piece of hardware, for Mac users, the drivers are proprietary and its difficult to use with any software other than that provided by elgato.

This thing does exactly what it's supposed to do. I just plug it in and turn it on and it works great. Highly recommend.

I have hesitant to buy this game capture. But its so easy to set up right out of the box! Streaming is even easier!!!

If you are a twitch streamer you need the capture card to enhance the quality and level of your streams and compatibility with other gaming devices.
