We use this to steam game play to twitch. I like it better then an internal as we can use it on a laptop as well.

I decided to purchase this after how happy my husband was with his. It's easy to take around if you need. Captures things perfectly. After a session you can easily take the video and upload it to youtube. Or you can stream as you play.

Like the title says it works great, if you don't have a PC/laptop that can handle recording/streaming in 1080p/60fps then you can lower the resolution and or framerate. Editing your clips is also rather easy to do.

Very small lag between real-time, and capture software. Better than Happauge, as I own both. Would recommend for local recording, & streaming.

I bought this for my PS4 and Wii U, I wanted to be able to record my gaming sessions and also be able to stream at a higher quality than i used to before. It does require a strong computer to be able to be used at its finest. My friends and myself are very impressed with the quality of this capture card. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to one-up their gaming experience

HEED THE MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS I was using a first-generation Intel i3 processor which I figured would be enough (it is for the Game Capture HD), but alas the video would stall out after a few seconds and crash if I pressed the record button. I figured this was as good an excuse as any to upgrade my computer though so I picked up a new laptop specifically with this device's requirements in mind: Fourth-generation Intel i5 (2.7GHz) with 6GB of RAM. I hooked everything up and it worked smoothly. I can start recording my PS4 with no problem, but when I stop the recording, the software crashes again. Fortunately, I found that the recordings are saving anyway in the selected directory but under the folder "Time Shift" with the file name "Recording_####YYYY-MM-DD_hh-mm-ss####_0002". IF YOU RECORD ANOTHER VIDEO IT WILL RECORD OVER THIS FILE, so make sure to move it before you do. The additional drawbacks to the crashing include not being able to record your commentary and not being able to edit your videos in the built-in editor. On the positive side the video recorded is every bit as smooth and clear as it is on your TV. So I'm e-mailing the issues I'm having to Elgato. If they get fixed this will be a five-star product without a doubt. Additional sidenote: You cannot use the HD60 with the older Game Capture software.

This is a good product I guess, when it works correctly. I am running it on an i3 machine (PC) with plenty of RAM and a SDHD. All the specs are met but the software interface in constantly causing me problems. I would not recommend this product because for the price and the "pain" you could buy something similar and cheaper or just do most of the recording from the PS4 itself. not worth the money.

Great product, Great price. It's a cinch to use, and I am definitely satisfied!

I do extensive recording and live streaming of gameplay, and the move into 60 fps has been well worth the money. Eventually, perhaps in the next generation, almost all games will run at or nearly 60 fps, making this device pretty much the LEAST you should consider buying for recording or streaming!

A little hard to figure out the software at first but it works great once you get the hang of it. :)

I do a lot of competitive gaming as well as casual, and this device serves my needs in every way for what I need it for. Easy to use, easy to edit videos. Would definitely recommend this product to a friend!

This gives you all you need to get going for recording and streaming. I recommend using OBS with it for best results and flexibility.

I you need to capture footage of your games in the best quality, this is the easiest route to go. Also is Twitch ready.

My son got this for his birthday. He enjoys being able to stream from his WiiU. No problems so far. He was able to set it up pretty easily

Works great. Just like it says. Perfect. Nothing bad

After using it for a while I can say it is a great game capture. The only draw back is it is heavy on the CPU usage but it is understandable because I have it set to record 1080p 60fps. Overall it is a great game capture for the money.

save your money and just use the capture apps on the ps4

Can easily recommend this product to anyone who wants to stream on any system OTHER THAN A PS3. It "can" work, but will take some extra work and purchases.
