It's a great device to use for recording gameplay, I currently use it to passthrough my PS5 gameplay to my computer and record with OBS. I will say though that games seem to look much better that way. I don't have any issues or nor have I had any.

User-friendly, easy to install. This would be best for beginners who are trying to stream video games.

I use it everyday to stream and it never cut off mid game play very simple to hook up and get ready to start recording or streaming

Very easy to use and set up, quality was really good as well. If your recordings aren't good quality, you'll have to mess with the settings in OBS or whichever software you use.

This little capture card is pretty good! With its 4K passthrough, you can finally see the full quality of the game you're playing on your TV/monitor (if you didn't get the 4K60 S+/4K60 Pro already). I jumped from the HD60S to HD60X and I think the quality check is pretty good. It also has the capability to record at 4K as well, just make sure if you're using software like Streamlabs or OBS that you set it to output your recordings to 4K. I used it to record my PS4 Pro and it works pretty well. An issue I do kind of have is that, for me at least, there is an audio issue while using the HD60X with either Streamlabs or OBS but it doesn't appear in Elgato's 4K Capture Utility where the audio would start to delay about 5 to 6 minutes in. There is a work around to it that Elgato provided for me but I do hope that Elgato can fix the issue soon so that the workaround isn't needed. Another issue that seem to come up recently is framerate? I put a question mark because I'm not sure where the issue is coming from. On my TV, my gameplay looks like it's going at 60FPS but on my capture preview, it looks like it's running at a lower framerate. Streamlabs is saying it's running at 60FPS but it doesn't look like it to me. I'm not really sure what's going on. It might be just me. I haven't seen anyone with this issue.

What a great product for such a great price. I love using this to stream and to game for fun on my pc!

It was a pain to set up(not due to the Elgato, Gap cap cards are always a pain)...but once I got it going, it works amazingly. No lag, no latency, runs smooth. Would highly suggest, especially if you're a streamer like me.

It works as intended! I wouldn't have it any other way.

Pretty easy to connect, Ive never used one before. And its smooth. Definitely worth the money! Lets me stream my Switch and PS5 games!

Ok i love Elgato product also work well with MacBook Pro M1s and iMac. You’ll have more feature supported when using a PC. A bit pricey but worth buying. There’s a few out there to try and one of them is this one. So i suggest to try them and see which one works for you.

This capture card is slightly difficult to navigate at least it was for me. I had to watch a ton of videos on TikTok and YouTube to be able to use this to stream my PS5 through my PC. Overall, it is a great capture card once you learn how to use it but if you have short patience and don't know too much on how to use a PC like me I would do more research before getting this one, you can probably find one that's basically plug and play.

Read the title lol This thing cost under 200, and does the job. Oh did i mention that everyone basically watches content in 1080p so its brother the “elgato 4k” is basically useless? Just a heads up tho you will have problems setting up the capturing. I highly recommend you watch some tutorials before you buy this.

I use it to stream in discord and it was pretty straight forward to use, download the elgato app and OBS if using that and watch NPC_Crow for a super easy tutorial on setting it up

I needed to be able to extract a number of saved video recordings from a cable DVR to a large external disk. After reviewing a number of alternatives the Elgato HD60X came into the mix. It has worked out very well once I understood "settings" which were not very well documented. I have now extracted hundreds of hours of programs saved on a proprietary cable box DVR.

The Elgato HD60 X is a great capture card especially for those who are looking to use next gen capabilities. I run this with my Xbox series X and it’s amazing. On stream there is no lag. Only thing is having good monitors helps out a lot.
