Easy setup, crisp 1080p60 HDR, a streamer's dream!

So here are some details that a streamer might be interested in: It does indeed pass through 120 fps (120Hz) to your gameplay screen at 1080p. That's a huge feature that the cheap products don't match. As the product description states, capturing and streaming are limited to 60fps but that is not a complaint. If you want to capture party / squad chat and gaming audio, you'll want to buy Elgato's Chat Link Pro cable. If you're also investing in a headset for streaming, I'd recommend you opt for a wired headset. This along with the Chat Link Pro cable will get you running with minimum headaches. OBS works great with the HD60 X. Here's a small thing to consider, in order for the passthrough to work, the Elgato needs power. I just plug the Elgato's USB-C cable into the PS5 and that's enough. Then when I setup my latop (for streaming) I disconnect the USB-C cable and connect it to the laptop. I use this on an M1 Max (MacBook Pro) and it work great. If you're trying to decide about streaming quality as it compares to the quality of the PS5 or XBox, the Elgato captures and streams a much sharper image. It might be the casting settings or compression. Either way, you can't control these settings on the console. I hope this helps someone. I'm new to gaming and gaming tech so there was a learning curve to getting this connected. The directions supplied weren't as clear as when I looked online, but regardless, got it up running and it works fine.

I use this with a dual PC setup. I originally used the HD60s which needed a work around for anything above 1080p. But the 1440p passthrough in the HD60X works great for streaming. Would recommend for anybody trying to record/stream.

I had some technical difficulties setting it up but it turns out to be software related, be sure to go to elgatos official website if you need drivers and product info , YouTube can also be helpful in trouble shooting issues. The quality of the video output is great but idk if it's worth the price.

Very useful for streaming to Twitch, or even just to Discord. Allowed me to ditch an old card and move into something more functional. Might need to grab a converter for some older consoles, but still very versatile.

Amazing in displaying my devices for recording or streaming on my pc. I suggest the slightly more expensive elgato capture card that has the multi app support. Constant error due to other programs connecting to the card. I also suggest using a powered usb hub due to the power draw of the capture card as well.
