This little card is pretty good at getting visually indistinguishable imagery captured from any hdmi source. My only complaint is that in OBS Streamlabs, you need the Elgato Video in a separate channel to the Elgato Audio, or there is lag. Other than that it works well.

Works great, the only issue would be the monitor it’s plugged into goes to like 3200x4800 resolution and there’s no way to go above 60hz. This personally doesn’t mess up what I’m using it for in anyway, but I could see it being an issue for others.

It’s a reliable capture card! Can confirm that it works with macOS and OBS to stream Nintendo Switch gameplay. I’m able to play slower-paced games via only the OBS preview. Modern capture cards still give some latency, so faster-paced games would still require a secondary monitor I imagine.

Its a little delayed but its crystal clear… love it

Does a really good job at what its supposed to do. Its just kind of a pain in the butt to get it set up. Theres no instruction book and videos online it tells you to watch dont do a great job at explaining. Took a couple of hours to get everything sorted but now that its set up it works great

This capture card is amazing for letting me play my PlayStation on my computer without needing to switch between HDMI’s and or changing the screens

Work better the most i tried a 3rd party one it over heated tried the razer ripsaw did not work it worked for me a have it recording my xbox and no issues

Works great! A little difficult at the beginning to get to work correctly.

Paired with a PS5 and OBS Studio, I am able to stream without any jitter or fluctuations. The passthrough works flawlessly. I am pushing out 1080p60 and HDR10 without any issues, while still playing the game at 4K120.

My son loves making content with his friends. I think it’s a great buy

Sick, one annoyance is the audio does not stay in sync. I tried calling Elgato but they didn’t help. Luckily I have a nice audio interface to route audio into and that did the trick.

Video quality is good, streaming with it as a source is simple. But there are some quality issues with the cable/interface on the device. I had several issues with it not connecting properly and losing input.

Have had no problems using this to capture footage from my PS5. Just wish there was more competition in this area of items.

He loves using this to stream Zelda Tears of The Kingdom to his friends on Discord. It does take some time to setup, but he loves being able to share what hes doing and talk with them about it.

it's ok and a tad bit overpriced, I got this product for the VRR function, well it didn't work, the thing is I have elgato hd 60 from 2014 and it allows me to have Gsync on my display when capturing the cloned display to my second PC, the only drawback I was forced to use 1080p resolution, with this new elgato HD60 X I was expecting the same with higher resolution 1440p, but these modern products are worse than the old ones, also it doesn't have a encoder, so you have to use your cpu or gpu, it's expensive for what it is

Works great for every console I own! I had problems with other capture cards and capturing audio but this one made it easy!

I love pairing this with my PS5 and with my pc i love Streaming on kick and Twitch this has no input lag at all not that i noitice

Product was good. But for new streamers, no instructions on what to do makes it hard to figure out. Youtube videos and a friend helped me get it going... needs to have a insert with a youtube video from the company or links on setup instructions.

I’m really happy with this and have been using it to digitize old family videos. The quality of the signal is superb but it does need to periodically unplugged and plugged back in again, otherwise the it will flicker between the hdmi signal and fuzz. Apart from that one quirk, I highly recommend!
