Plug and play device. But, because its USB based, it will definitely have more latency than the PCI capture card. Good quality audio/video, but the software lacks many features that OBS studio provides.

This was purchased for myself, I stream on a Xbox via twitch, and connect to a windows laptop. The connectivity is pretty easy, just a hdmi here, an ac power cord there. As for storing the recordings, you do need to be somewhat savvy with the elgato program, but overall it is something you can learn via google/youtube. Personally I would reccomend using OBS (available thru steam for free) instead pf elgatos software due to the lack of features built in to OBS allowing more fine tune editing/recording. TLDR-----------------------------------------------------------Great device for small time streaming, easy access to plain recordings of your streams. Reccommend OBS via steam if you want to professionalize your streams/recordings in place of elgato software.

Great in terms of use , if you stream just plug that in and if you have any minor issues like it not showing up or no sound , normally its cause your camara is off, or just look on youtube , overall fun amd easy for streaming.

Do it - worth the money. Some cheap cards don’t work as expected. This is plug and play.

If you are looking to record or stream your game play especially on platforms like Tick Tock or YouTube gaming this will do great but there are workarounds that you can look up on YouTube that actually make it much more simple without a physical device

WAHOOO Since I got this capture card my Nintendo Switch streaming as been of the charts! I'm so glad I decided to go with this model so simple to use just make sure you know what application you want to run streaming through! Elgato has a application you can use.

This is the best budget capture card on the market! Very high quality and low latency. I got this to start my streaming journey and haven't even considered another one. Very high quality and great for what it is.

works perfectly no issues at all. I wanted something to connect my Switch 2 to my PC so I can play it directly on a window in my PC. This worked perfectly without sacrificing any quality or frames at all. Input delay is unnoticeable.

Worked exactly as I needed to with very little effort to set up. I just plugged it in and downloaded the program from Elgato's website, and it worked immediately. Been streaming my Switch 2 for friends and loving it.

Bought this for my console, its simple and easy to set up.

It's a great device to use for recording gameplay, I currently use it to passthrough my PS5 gameplay to my computer and record with OBS. I will say though that games seem to look much better that way. I don't have any issues or nor have I had any.

I got this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and he loves it for his streaming and playing the game wit this friends he said it doesn’t glitch or messed up his computer and easy to set up!!

This little capture card is pretty good! With its 4K passthrough, you can finally see the full quality of the game you're playing on your TV/monitor (if you didn't get the 4K60 S+/4K60 Pro already). I jumped from the HD60S to HD60X and I think the quality check is pretty good. It also has the capability to record at 4K as well, just make sure if you're using software like Streamlabs or OBS that you set it to output your recordings to 4K. I used it to record my PS4 Pro and it works pretty well. An issue I do kind of have is that, for me at least, there is an audio issue while using the HD60X with either Streamlabs or OBS but it doesn't appear in Elgato's 4K Capture Utility where the audio would start to delay about 5 to 6 minutes in. There is a work around to it that Elgato provided for me but I do hope that Elgato can fix the issue soon so that the workaround isn't needed. Another issue that seem to come up recently is framerate? I put a question mark because I'm not sure where the issue is coming from. On my TV, my gameplay looks like it's going at 60FPS but on my capture preview, it looks like it's running at a lower framerate. Streamlabs is saying it's running at 60FPS but it doesn't look like it to me. I'm not really sure what's going on. It might be just me. I haven't seen anyone with this issue.

Works great took some work figuring out how to use. I use it to stream on TikTok video quality is good so far no issues. Great choice.

It was a pain to set up(not due to the Elgato, Gap cap cards are always a pain)...but once I got it going, it works amazingly. No lag, no latency, runs smooth. Would highly suggest, especially if you're a streamer like me.
