Do it - worth the money. Some cheap cards don’t work as expected. This is plug and play.

I got this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and he loves it for his streaming and playing the game wit this friends he said it doesn’t glitch or messed up his computer and easy to set up!!

Really solid capture card. Best for capturing things like Xbox or PS - but note audio capture can be goofy and require some troubleshooting. But it’s a great started capture card!

This little capture card is pretty good! With its 4K passthrough, you can finally see the full quality of the game you're playing on your TV/monitor (if you didn't get the 4K60 S+/4K60 Pro already). I jumped from the HD60S to HD60X and I think the quality check is pretty good. It also has the capability to record at 4K as well, just make sure if you're using software like Streamlabs or OBS that you set it to output your recordings to 4K. I used it to record my PS4 Pro and it works pretty well. An issue I do kind of have is that, for me at least, there is an audio issue while using the HD60X with either Streamlabs or OBS but it doesn't appear in Elgato's 4K Capture Utility where the audio would start to delay about 5 to 6 minutes in. There is a work around to it that Elgato provided for me but I do hope that Elgato can fix the issue soon so that the workaround isn't needed. Another issue that seem to come up recently is framerate? I put a question mark because I'm not sure where the issue is coming from. On my TV, my gameplay looks like it's going at 60FPS but on my capture preview, it looks like it's running at a lower framerate. Streamlabs is saying it's running at 60FPS but it doesn't look like it to me. I'm not really sure what's going on. It might be just me. I haven't seen anyone with this issue.

Works great and very simple to use. I use it for streaming PS5 content. I can also use it to pass through the sound to the PC if I want to use the PS5 on the monitor instead of tv, because the monitor has no speakers or audio output.

Great for streaming to all social platforms. Elgato is the best in its industry

wanted to like the Elgato HD60 S+, and in some ways it does deliver what it promises — 1080p60 capture is solid, setup is straightforward, and it generally gets the job done when it works. But honestly, after using it for a while, it left me feeling underwhelmed. The good: it captures clean footage, integrates with popular streaming apps, and doesn’t require a crazy amount of tech know-how to get started. That’s exactly what you want from a capture card. The not so good: I ran into random dropped frames and sync issues more often than I expected at this price point. It’s frustrating when you’re trying to record gameplay and end up troubleshooting the device instead of gaming. Performance also seems inconsistent depending on USB ports and cables — which shouldn’t be the case for something this marketed as “plug-and-play.” It’s fine if your setup is simple and you just need basic capture that mostly works. But if you’re serious about high-quality recordings or stable live streaming, there are better options for the money. Bottom line: Decent hardware with potential, but reliability issues and inconsistent performance keep it from being a standout. Not terrible, just average — and priced a bit high for that.

It was a pain to set up(not due to the Elgato, Gap cap cards are always a pain)...but once I got it going, it works amazingly. No lag, no latency, runs smooth. Would highly suggest, especially if you're a streamer like me.

Ok i love Elgato product also work well with MacBook Pro M1s and iMac. You’ll have more feature supported when using a PC. A bit pricey but worth buying. There’s a few out there to try and one of them is this one. So i suggest to try them and see which one works for you.

Very easy to use and set up, quality was really good as well. If your recordings aren't good quality, you'll have to mess with the settings in OBS or whichever software you use.

works perfectly no issues at all. I wanted something to connect my Switch 2 to my PC so I can play it directly on a window in my PC. This worked perfectly without sacrificing any quality or frames at all. Input delay is unnoticeable.

This is the best budget capture card on the market! Very high quality and low latency. I got this to start my streaming journey and haven't even considered another one. Very high quality and great for what it is.

Works great took some work figuring out how to use. I use it to stream on TikTok video quality is good so far no issues. Great choice.

I use it everyday to stream and it never cut off mid game play very simple to hook up and get ready to start recording or streaming

If you are looking to record or stream your game play especially on platforms like Tick Tock or YouTube gaming this will do great but there are workarounds that you can look up on YouTube that actually make it much more simple without a physical device

Worked exactly as I needed to with very little effort to set up. I just plugged it in and downloaded the program from Elgato's website, and it worked immediately. Been streaming my Switch 2 for friends and loving it.

The Elgato HD60 X is a great capture card especially for those who are looking to use next gen capabilities. I run this with my Xbox series X and it’s amazing. On stream there is no lag. Only thing is having good monitors helps out a lot.
